ONLINE TO OFFLINE ENGAGEMENTWhat is it?

Online communication, outreach and mobilization that allows individuals to take part in your work and leads them to eventually participate in offline action

So we are talking today about online tools that you can use to interest and engage people online that will eventually lead to recruiting new volunteers and developing new leaders. 3t

LADDER OF ENGAGEMENT

This is how online engagement turns to offline engagement- we have a big base of people to start out with, and then we continue to engage with the people who engage with us. We try to boost them up that ladder of engagement to eventually recruit them to become a volunteer and then a leader, like you all. Facebook is just step one in that process.

So the tool we are going to be discussing today is Facebook.4t

EXAMPLE: CORPORATE ACTION CAMPAIGNHome Depot responds:

We think sound immigration policy makes good business sense, so were broadly in support of immigration reform. While we know there are various ways to get this done, we support efforts in Congress to update our immigration laws and will lend our support when and where its appropriate to do so.
