1. CLOSINg OF ENTRIES: Northwest Autumn Classic: Entries close Wednesday, August 22, 2012 October Classic: Entries close Wednesday, September 19, 20122. ENTRY PROCEDURES: One check per owner. Exhibitors may pay either by check or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Exhibitors may enter on line by credit card only, at www.horseshowtime.com 1. Exhibitors may choose to pre-pay all fees before the closing date of entries. 2. Exhibitors may pay the total of: 1.) A deposit fee of $50 per horse 2.) All stall and tack room fees 3. ALL COMPLETED ENTRIES RECEIVED BY THE CLOSINg DATE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ADD/SCRATCH/SUBSTITUTE ON THE DAY PRECEDINg THE SHOW(SCHOOLINg DAY) AT NO CHARgE. INCOMPLETE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THE CLOSINg DATE WILL BE ASSESSED FEES FOR ANY ADD/SCRATCH/SUBSTITUTIONS TO BE COMPLETE ENTRY FORMS MUST INCLUDE: 1.) Trainers and owners may leave a signed open check or credit card authorization for charges during show. All accounts to be closed by 5:00 Saturday. 5. All entries which are late will be assessed a $50 late fee. NO EXCEPTIONS. 6. Exhibitors will receive their prize money within three weeks after the Horse Show.3. CREDIT CARDS: Exhibitors wishing to pay by credit card will be charged a $25.00 convenience fee. Charges to credit cards come through on statements from the Washington State Hunter Jumper Association (WSHJA).4. USHJA HORSE REgISTRATIONS: All horses competing in Federation non-breed restricted licensed competitions with hunter, hunter breeding, jumper and hunter seat equitation classes (except those activities enumerated in GR901.9, items 1-11) must be properly identified and must obtain a Registration Number from USHJA. A registration number for each horse must be entered on all entry forms for licensed competitions.5. CREDENTIALS: Exhibitors must present the following credentials to the horse show. 1.) USEF/USHJA membership card 2.) USEF/USHJA amateur certification 3.) USEF/USHJA Large, Small, Junior Hunter & Pony measurement card 4.) USEF/USHJA horse recording 5.) EC membership Card WE STRONgLY RECOMMEND THAT PHOTO COPIES OF THE ABOVE CARDS BE SENT WITH ENTRIES. 6. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS: Entries must be paid by draft payable in US Funds or check on Canadian US Dollar account. Canadian checks with US Funds written on the face of the check will not be accepted. 7. POST ENTRIES & SCRATCHES: Post entries will be accepted at a charge of $5 per class until 5:00 P.M. the day before classes are to be held and $10 per class after 5:00 P.M. All classes scratched will receive a $5.00 per class office charge. Refunds will be given for scratched classes ONLY if the office is notified the day before the class. There will be a maximum charge of $50 for all post entries and scratches8. SUBSTITUTIONS: A new horse/pony may be substituted for a scratched horse/pony. Any added or scratched classes will be treated under post entries and scratches.9. CANCELLATION OF ENTRIES AND REFUNDS: Exhibitors cancelling entries after the closing date shall forfeit their entry fees, except in the case of disability of a horse, when entries shall be refunded on presentation to the Show Secretary, a certificate of disability from a qualified veterinarian PRIOR to the first class in which the horse is entered. 1) No refunds of entry fees shall be made after the first class in which the horse is entered unless a certificate of disability is presented
to the horse show office. 2) There will be $50 office charge. 3) No refund of stall fees unless requested directly to the show secretary before September 5, 2012 (Northwest Autumn Classic and Sep
tember 30, 2012 (October Classic) . 4) Refunds will be mailed within three weeks after the Horse Show.10. RETURNED CHECkS/CREDIT CARDS: There will be a penalty of $50 per check/credit card returned by the bank for any reason. No checks/credit cards will be processed through the bank a second time. To retain entries, the fees and penalty must be paid by Money Order, Cashiers Check or Cash before 4 PM the day before the Horse Show starts. In the event a check/credit card is returned after the completion of the show, it will be handled in accordance with USEF GR913. No personal checks will be cashed at the Show. 12. USEF FEE: For every horse participating in any competition recognized by the USEF, a $16 USEF fee will be collected ($8 shall be a Drugs & Medication fee to provide for research, inspection and enforcement of rules regarding use of medications and drugs; see GR407.1, .2 and .3.13. USHJA ZONE SUPPORT FEE: Every horse entered in any competition recognized by the USEF will be assessed a $2.00 USHJA Zone Support Fee which will be distributed to the USHJA Zones in 2013 to provide the necessary funding to allow the Zones to increase their pro-grams and benefits to their constituents.14. MEASUREMENT AND AMATEUR CERTIFICATION: All Small, Large, Junior and Pony Hunters must possess and present a current Measurement Card to the show secretary before numbers may be picked up. If the cards are not available, MEASUREMENT WILL BE RE-qUIRED. Photocopies of current Amateur Certification of Junior Memberships may be included with entries or made available when picking up numbers. 15. MANAgEMENT: Management reserves the right to cancel or combine any classes that do not fill to their satisfaction. Equitation classes not filling may be combined with the next age group. Notice will be given to exhibitors affected. Management reserves the right to start the first class of any session 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time if entries warrant. Management reserves the right to make changes of arenas, judges, or class orders to facilitate time schedule and conditions.16. COMBINED CLASSES & SECTIONS: Any class or section that does not have at least four entries 12 hours before the first class is scheduled (unless otherwise specified) will be combined.17. TROPHIES, RIBBONS, PRIZE MONEY: Trophy and ribbons will be awarded to eight places in all Hunter, Equitation and Junior classes. prize money will be divided 30%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 10%. Jumper prize money will be divided 25%, 23%, 20%, 17%, 15%. Grand Prix and USHJA National Hunter Classic will be divided 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6,%, 5%, 5%. 18. 19. STABLINg: Permanent box stalls with doors provided. First bedding and shavings for the show will be provided. STALLS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL 5:00 P.M. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2012 (NORTHWEST AUTUMN CLASSIC) AND TUESDAY OCTOBER 9, 2012 (OCTOBER CLASSIC) and must be vacated no later than noon , Monday, September 17, 2012 and Monday, October 15, 2012. Fee for box stalls for the entire show shall be Northwest Autumn Classic $195 - October Classic $175. Weekend stalls(Friday - Sunday) shall be Northwest Autumn Classic $145 - October Classic $125. Please indicate arrival and departure date and who you are to be stabled with on the entry blank. Exhibitors do their own stall cleaning. Preference on requests for stalls will be given to exhibitors from out of the country, out of state, longest distance away and promptness of entry. No refund of stall fees unless requested directly to the Show Secretary before September 5, 2012 (Northwest Autumn Classic) and September 30, 2012 (October Classic). Refunds after those dates will only be made is the stall is reissued to another entry.20. SHAVINgS & MANURE DISPOSAL FEE: There will be a $95 (Northwest Autumn Classic) & $75 (October Classic) per horse shavings & manure disposal fee. The fee for a week-end stall will be $65(Northwest Autumn Classic & $45 (October Classic).21. SCHOOLINg AND EXERCISE: Schooling areas will be available for use before, during and after the show. Schooling in the performance rings will be allowed on Tuesday September 11, 2012, over a posted course in Ring 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (fences at 3’6” from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m., 3’ from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., 2’ from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and in Ring 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (fences at 2’6” from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 2’ from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Jumper schooling will be 3’6” from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 3’ from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., 2’6” from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Ring 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (fences at 3’ from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 2’ from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) A schooling fee of $30 will be charged all entries. Hard hats must be worn while schooling. 22. MOTORIZED VEHICLES: MINORS WHO DO NOT HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE WHICH ALLOWS THEM TO OPERATE A MOTORIZED VEHICLE IN THE STATE IN WHICH THEY RESIDE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO OPERATE A MOTORIZED VEHICLE OF ANY kIND, INCLUDINg BUT NOT LIMITED TO, gOLF CARTS, MOTORCYCLES, SCOOTERS, OR FARM UTILITY VEHICLES, ON THE COMPETITION gROUNDS OF RECOgNIZED COMPETITIONS. MINORS WHO HAVE A VALID TEMPORARY LICENSE MAY OPERATE THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED MOTORIZED VEHICLES AS LONg AS THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WITH A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE. THE PARENT(S),LEgAL gUARDIAN(S), OR INDIVIDUAL WHO SIgNS THE ENTRY BLANk AS A PARENT OR gUARDIAN OF A MINOR OPERATINg A MOTORIZED VEHICLE IN VIOLATION OF THIS RULE ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAgES, CLAIMS LOSSES OR ACTIONS RESULTINg FROM THE OPERATION. VIOLATIONS OF THIS RULE WILL BE CAUSE FOR SANC-TIONS AgAINST THE PARENT(S), gUARDIAN(S), AND/OR TRAINER(S) WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHILD COMMITTINg THE OFFENSE. PENALTIES MAY INCLUDE EXCLUSION OF THE CHILD, PARENT(S), gUARDIAN(S), AND/OR TRAINER(S) FROM THE COMPETITION gROUNDS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE COMPETITION AND CHARgES BEINg FILED AgAINST ANY OF THE ABOVE INDIVIDUALS IN ACCORDANCE WITH USEF RULE 6. WHEELCHAIRS AND OTHER MOBILITY ASSISTANCE DEVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES ARE EXEMPT FROM THIS RULE.23. TRAILER OR CAMPER HOOk-UPS: Trailer and camper hook-ups are available at a cost of $170/week(NWAC) & $150/week(OC) or $45/day per space. Hook-up rates for the septic tank area will be $190/week on a first come basis. A card will be issued at the horse show office and must be displayed in a window facing the parking area. Hook-ups will be patrolled and enforced. There will be a charge of $110/week or $30/day for trailers and campers that park overnight but do not use hook-ups.24. HAUL-INS: There will be a charge of $35 a day per horse for horses not stabled.25. ARENAS & FOOTINg: Hunter Ring 1 is 248’ x 120’. Hunter Ring 2 is 100’ x 225’. Jumper Ring is 128’ x 255’. The indoor schooling arena is 100 x 200. The footing is sand on a sand base.

Champion, Reserve Champion and Ribbons to Eight Places.Open to junior members of the ASPCA who have been certified by the ASPCA and National Horse Show as being qualified to compete in the Maclay Regional Championship. All contestants are required to perform over at least eight fences at 3’6” in height with or without wings. A minimum of ten (10) more riders than one-half of the riders competing in the Regional (not more than 24 at a time), if available, are required to show at a walk, trot and canter. To be judged on seat, hands, guidance and control of horse. The Under Saddle performance of those riders selected to show Under Saddle shall count 50%. Only one rider per horse. Test 1-19. Special course to be posted one hour before the time of the class. The top ribbon winners, in proportion to the top ribbon winners at other Regional Finals, will be qualified for the ASPCA Maclay Finals..Entries for Regional Championship classes close, and must be received by, 5:00 p.m. E.S.T., August 15, at the NHSAA’s office. Entries must be on the Official Entry Form, signed, and submitted with the $100.00 per class Entry Fee made payable to the NHSAA. Riders who qualify for Regional Championship classes at any time between August 15, 2012 and the final qualifying date of August 31, 2012, shall be required to submit entries by 5:00 p.m. E.S.T. on September 1, 2012. The NHSA reserves the right to reject any late or unsigned entries or entries not submitted with all entry fees.
JUMPER DIVISIONTies for other than first place will be placed according to the time taken to complete the course. The jumping will be determined by drawing the horses names individually, starting with the first position and then working down. Championships will be decided on points. Time allowed will be based on a minimum speed of 382 yards per minute.

No Dogs are allowed on the grounds of the
Evergreen Equestrian Park
Painting/polishing of horses hoofs need to be done within the stall.
No painting in the aisle way.
You are responsible for the cleaning of your tack and grooming stalls prior
tomoving out. Manure left in the corner of stalls should be put in the manure
bins.
Braiding yarn needs to be swept up and disposed of.
Syringes and needles must be put in the sharps containers.
When the Horse Show is charged for these violations they will be passed
on to the exhibitors.

Many of the Northwest Autumn Classic Spectators are very impressed by the pride of professionalism displayed by our Northwest Hunter/Jumper
barns. They truly enjoy strolling through the barn aisle along with viewing the horse show.
The Northwest Autumn Classic will award two prizes for thebest tackroom/barn aisle decorations:One of the barn with 7 or less horsesOne of the barn with 8 or more horses
