manufacturing of quality lubricants exclusively for the wire-rope and allied industries.

The company is also involved in trading of products such as wire-rope socketing

compound, wire-drawing soaps/lubricants/greases, and fire resistant hydraulic fluid.

Usha Lubes Pvt. Ltd. has its head-quarters in the city of Kolkata (West Bengal) and

factory in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), both located in the Eastern region of India. The

company also has stock-points in Pune (Maharashtra) and Bangkok (Thailand).

Established in the year 1983, the company has over 30 years of experience &

expertise in the manufacturing, supplying and trading of wire-rope lubricants and

related products in the Indian and International markets.

A brief description of the company’s activities:-

Manufacturing

Usha Lubes Pvt. Ltd. manufactures a wide range of wire-rope lubricants and rust

preventive oils at its Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) plant. The company has an in-house

laboratory, located in Jamshedpur , which is well equipped to carry out all the

necessary tests that enable it to maintain a consistent quality standard for all its

products. These testing facilities also enable the company to work closely with its

customer and develop products based on their requirements.

TM

A number of established wire-rope manufacturers in India use wire-rope lubricants

manufactured by Usha Lubes Pvt. Ltd. Apart from domestic customers, Usha Lubes

also supplies its products to wire-rope manufacturers based in countries such as

United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, etc.

Trading & Distribution

Usha Lubes Pvt Ltd. has tie-ups with foreign companies and functions as their

trading partner.

CONDAT (France) – Usha Lubes Pvt. Ltd. is the exclusive authorized

supplier/distributor for Condat’s range of Wire Drawing Soaps & Lubricants and Fire

Resistant Hydraulic Fluid (FRHF), in India and Thailand. These products are

manufactured by Condat in France.

Usha Lubes Pvt. Ltd. also distributes these Condat products in Thailand, through its

subsidiary company, Usha Lubes (Thailand) Ltd., which has its warehouse & office in

Bangkok, Thailand.

Millfield Enterprises (United Kingdom) – Usha Lubes Pvt. Ltd is the exclusive

authorized supplier/distributor for the WIRELOCK range of cold socketing products,

for the Indian market. WIRELOCK is a polyester resin-based product meant for the

cold socketing of wire-ropes, manufactured by Millfield Enterprises Ltd. in the United

Kingdom. This product (WIRELOCK) has been approved for use by a number of

international institutes & authorities, such as the Directorate General of Mines Safety

(India), American Bureau of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas, and a number of

government bodies in countries like the UK, USA, Norway, etc; to name a few.
