Uses for your wrap during pregnancy, labor, and birth
Many mothers and midwives report great results when they use rebozos and wraps for pain relief and relaxation during pregnancy and labor.
Additionally, rebozos, wraps, and other long cloths have been used for centuries to aid mother/baby dyads in finding optimal positioning prior to birth. It is thought by many that such enhanced positioning tools can encourage the softening and dilation of a mother's cervix.
Lastly, it is common for mothers to work with their midwives and partners for optimal positioning of their own bodies during pushing, and a rebozo or wrap can provide tremendous support in allowing a woman to rely on her intuition to find the position she will use to bring her baby into the world.
Below, you will find photos of only some of the possible uses of your Wrapsody baby carrier before your baby is born. We hope this printable will allow you to take these ideas with you and share them with your partner and care providers.
