General Guidelines/Safety Tips

Ÿ Kindly read carefully enclosed user's

manual and instructions on the PIN mailer.Ÿ Sign on the signature panel at the back

of the card as soon as you receive it. Ÿ Use your new card on an ATM

immediately to change the system

generated PIN, Enter a new four digit,

number of your choice, memorize it and

destroy the PIN mailer. Preferably change it

time to time. Ÿ Please keep your PIN secret and do not

disclose it to anybody, including a family

member or your banker. Ÿ Please avoid taking help from any

strangers in the ATM room, Never let anyone

see you enter your PIN. Ÿ Never write your PIN on your card.

Taking care of your card

Ÿ Keep your card safe.

Ÿ The card must not be kept near a TV.

Ÿ Never leave your card unattended.

Ÿ Store your card in a secure place where

you will immediately know if it's missing.

Ÿ Avoid scratching the magnetic strip.

Ÿ Do not place two Cards with the magnetic

strips together.

Ÿ Do not bend the card.

Ÿ Keep your card away from direct sunlight.

Did You Know ?

Ÿ You can get cash within few seconds from an ATM anywhere and at anytime.Ÿ You can print last few transactions of your account through ATM.Ÿ You can check your account balance on ATM.Ÿ You can shop at various POS terminals with your RuPay Debit Card.

Using your RuPay Debit Card for Cash Withdrawals at ATM’s

Step1: Swipe your card horizontally or vertically with the magnetic strip facing the slot depending on the position on the access lock in the door of the ATM room.

Step2: Insert your card into the ATM at the slot indicated. If the ATM is a dip card ATM, dip the card in the slot and take it back. In case of motorized card reader, card will be retained in the ATM till the transaction is completed.

Step3: The card will prompt you to select the language in which you desire to interact.

Step4: Next, the ATM will prompt you to key in the PIN. After the PIN is input, the ATM processes the information and if it is found correct, guides you step by step for conducting transactions.

Step5: At this stage, options will appear on the screen and you can choose appropriate option amongst Fast Cash, Withdrawal, PIN Change and Mini statement.

Step6: If you have no further transactions,

please collect your Card. If your card is stuck

inside the ATM, please contact ATM

Important

Ÿ After receiving your card, please sign

immediately on the signature panel on the

reverse of your card to prevent any misuse.

Ÿ The same PIN number used in ATM to

withdraw money should be used at POS.

Using RuPay Debit Card at Merchants

Step1: Present your card to the merchant.

Step2: The merchant will swipe it at the POS

terminal and enter the amount of purchase.

Step3: You will be presented the PIN pad,

key in your PIN.

Step4: The terminal will process the

transaction and charge slip will be printed.

Step5: Check the amount on the charge slip

and sign on the merchant copy.

Step6: The merchant will return the

customer copy of the charge slip and your

card.

Know Your RuPay Debit Card

FRONT1. Card Number: This is your unique 16 digit card number. Please quote this number in all correspondence/communication with the Bank.

2. Card Holder Name: Only you are authorized to use your card. Please check to see that you're Debit Card has been correctly indent printed.

3. Expiry date: You're RuPay Debit card is valid until the last day of the month of the year indicated on the card.

4. RuPay Logo: Any merchant establishment displaying RuPay logo should accept your Debit card in India.

BACK1. Magnetic Stripe / EMV Chip: Important information pertaining to Gujarat Ambuja Co. Operative Bank Ltd., RuPay Debit card is enclosed here. Please protect your card from scratching or exposure to magnets and magnetic fields as it can damage the magnetic strip.

2. Signature panel: Please sign on the signature panel on receipt of your card with a non-erasable ball-pen (preferably black ink).

3. Personal Identification Number (PIN): You will receive a confidential PIN for use of your debit card at ATMs and Merchant Outlets.

Charges and Fees:

Ÿ Annual Charges are applicable. These Charges are subject to change from time to time. The annual fee will be debited to the cardholders account on issuance of the EMV chip debit –cum-ATM Cardholder.

Ÿ The Bank reserves the right at any time to change the Cardholder for the issue, re-issue of the Card and/or any fees/charges for the transactions carried out by you on the Card. Details of applicable fees and charges can be obtained from the Bank’s Branches and Bank’s Web-site (www.Ambujabank.com) are subject to change from time to time.

Ÿ Any such fees and charges will be deducted automatically from your Card account at the time the fee or charge is incurred, In addition, some other ATM owners or operators of shared networks may impose an additional charge for each use of their ATM/other device, and any such charge along with other applicable fees/charges will be deducted from the cardholder’s account.
