Usability Study of the Finger Counter - Overview

Abstract The Finger Counter is a computer-vision system that identifies the number of fingers held up in front of an inexpensive webcam in real time. Usability studies were conducted to determine the limitations of the system. Tests performed included: a voice-interactive test, a drawing test, and a questionnaire that gauged the ease of use of the system, as well as a limitations test that established conservative functional ranges for use of the Finger Counter.
