Persons holding ratings which existednrior to 2 April continue to wear the sameinecialtv mark, with the exception ofrida.m6n, photilgrapher's mates, hospitalcorpsmen. patternmakers, and molders.

Pav sride and rating group of nonratedmen are indicated by diagonal stripes wornon left sleeve in same position prescribedfor rating badges.
