    You (and your spouse if married) were under 65 onJanuary 1, 1996, and not blind at the end of 1995.

    Your filing status is single ormarried filing jointly.

    Use thisform if

    Your taxable income (line 6) is less than $50,000. You do not claim a ny dependen ts.

    You ha d o n l y wages, salaries, t ips, taxable scholarship or fellowship grants, or unemploymentcompen sat ion, and your taxable interes t income was $400 or less . B u t if you earned tips,including allocated tips, that are not included in box 5 and box 7 of your W-2, you may not beable to use F orm 1040EZ. See page 13.
