Transcript of U.S. ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT HEALTH PROFESSIONS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
AMEDD MISSION
• Provide quality medical service to our military, their families, retirees, & those in need of medical treatment throughout the world.
AMEDD A Humanitarian Mission
• In over 80 countries; Army medical personnel are manning civilian hospitals, teaching local medical professionals, providing equipment and medication.
This is 10 month old Fatima Jbouri. Gunmen killed her mother and uncle in their Baghdag home and she was thrown into the garbage – literally – outside the house. She was rescued by Iraqi and U.S. forces and is seen here in the care of Army Medical Department Professionals.
