`Ninki` is a Japanese word which means Popular. The `Ninki Art Project` of drawing and/on photographs consist of numerous archetypal images of popular celebrities in vague appearance. Their activities and character are anarchistic and individualized. The popular celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson, Zinedine Zidan, Diego Maradona, Shoib Akhter (world`s fastest cricket bowler), Asashoryu (25 times top division Sumo champion in Japan) are all popular icons during their span of career, but all have been blemished by controversy for one reason or another. I focus on celebrities in excited, playful, sporty and happy moments. I draw remarkable lines where they are about to fall or feel hard to gesture in the photographs. Their idolized appearances are highlighted by protective line drawings that display an awareness of the performative ethos of iconic expression. The lines underneath the falling position imply the stardoms can`t fall down from the gestures and positions that they are held in.

The objects installed on the floor are the objects of Salvager/Tsukaibou as 3D model to protect or support the celebrities from their position in the photographs.

Here this publication is focusing on Asashoryu Akinori who was 25 times top division Sumo cham-pion in Japan, just had to retired from his career for a major controversy.

Asashōryū Akinori (born September 27, 1980, as Dol-gorsürengiin Dagvadorj) is a former sumo wrestler (rikishi) from Ulan Bator, Mongolia. He was the 68th yokozuna in the history of the sport in Japan and became the first Mongolian to reach sumo’s highest rank in January 2003. He was one of the most suc-cessful yokozuna ever. In 2005 he became the first man to win all six official tournaments (honbasho) in a single year. Over his entire career, he won 25 top division tournament championships, placing him third on the all-time list.

From 2004 until 2007, Asashōryū was sumo’s sole yokozuna, and was criticised at times by the media and the Japan Sumo Association for not upholding the standards of behaviour expected of a holder of such a prestigious rank.[3] He became the first yokozuna in history to be suspended from competi-tion in August 2007 when he participated in a char-ity soccer match in his home country despite having withdrawn from a regional sumo tour claiming in-jury.[4] After a career filled with a multitude of other controversies, both on and off the dohyō, he retired from sumo in February 2010 after allegations that he assaulted a man outside a Tokyo nightclub.
