Beauty eyelash conditioner is a helpful item uti-lized by many girls to acquire those longerlashes they want. Currently, girls are very awarehow they appear and many women are seekingways to attain the look they desire. Typically, the eyes add to their youthful appearance. At-tractive eyes and eyelashes make most womenlook much younger.

There are additional eyelash products that havecome to the market. For stimulating the appear-ance of your eyes the most typical products arethose that make your eyelashes look longer andhealthier. The best products in this category aregenerally eyelash conditioner. The applicationof such products will give you lashes that lon-ger and fuller look you want.

Generally speaking, these products are similarto liquid eyeliner, which are applied once a daytypically. The best thing about these types ofeye lash conditioners, it doesn't matter howshort or thin your lashes currently are, an eye-lash conditioner can help to increase your lashlength and eyelash beauty.

There are litanies of brands that offer beautyeyelash conditioner. Various brands will offerdifferent application styles though. When buyingit's important that you read the labels carefullyso you know what you are getting. Understand-ing the type of ingredients in the eyelash condi-tioner will ensure you have a cosmetic that willoffer healthy lashes. The most effective methodof getting this type of information is to conduct afew basic internet

searches for that given eyelash conditionerbrand. This basic information will let you know ifthe type of ingredients used in this eyelash con-ditioner will be irritating to your eyes or not.

It's very important that you first acquire all of thisinformation on the beauty eyelash conditionerproducts that you are going to be using. This isessentially because many eyelash conditionerscontain harsh chemicals that may be very irritat-ing to your eyes. Many women don't realize this, but many eyelash conditioners contain salt as abase ingredient. Salt can obviously be extremelyirritating, even in small amounts. Ensure thatyour eyelash conditioners do not include salt.

Today there are many all natural alternativesavailable that do not include any salt or othernon-natural chemicals. The ideal eyelash condi-tioner only includes natural materials. Formulasbased in plants or seeds are great, so they pro-vide amazing results and growth without irritat-ing your eyes. Locating an eyelash conditionerthat fits these specifications will work well foralmost all women.

Fitness Enhance-ment: Using Per-sonal Training forYou and Your DogBy Nick Dinic

If you have a dog, you have your owncompanion that will do anything with you, including personal training for fitness en-hancement. Most dogs like to go for walks,no matter what the weather is like out-side. Your dog may be anxious to keepgoing, even when you are ready to quit. For this reason, they make a great per-sonal trainer. Your dog never judges you,but they certainly get used to daily trips tothe park or other activities.

Just like people, dogs need exercise, too. Many owners get up and walk the dogeach morning, even though they wouldrather lie in bed. The only thing is thatdogs get bored, just like people do. Youcan try to go new places or try new thingsto have fun with your dog and make surethey get their exercise, while you are get-ting yours, too. However, for fitness en-hancement, you can mix up the kind ofexercise you get, while you are exercisingyour dog.

By changing the speeds of your strides, youcan get interval training, which is importantfor fitness enhancement. Try sprinting for abit, then jogging or walking. Your pet willenjoy the "game" of guessing what speedyou will be going and you will gain valuablemetabolism boosting and calorie burningexercise. Maybe sprint two or three mail-boxes then walk for two or three more, tomake it more interesting for you, too.

Try different walking paths, or do your rou-tine walk in reverse. Are you taking the waywith the easiest uphill climbs and the steep-est down hills, when walking around theblock? Just by reversing your route, you willget a much more intense workout withsteeper and longer uphill climbs, and down-hill descents will be shorter, which is a betterworkout for your muscles and great intervaltraining for you and your dog.

Play games with your dog, such as catch,Frisbee or fetching the stick. This will workout different parts of your body and your dogwill view it as play. If you have a dog thatlikes to swim, find a creek or river to gowading and play fetch. Walking upstream ina current is great exercise for leg muscles, and water aerobics or swimming are greatcalorie burners and offers a great cardioworkout.

Using your dog as your personal trainer canbe fun and a great fitness enhancement forboth of you. Most dogs are anxious to any-thing different and playful. There are a fewthings to keep in mind, for your pet's safety, especially if you have an overweight or el-derly dog.

Don't engage an older pet in strenuous exer-cise, and keep in mind that their feet can getsore or too hot on asphalt and on hot sum-mer days. Other things to keep in mind arethat heavy exercise can be hard on a pet'sjoints and don't jeopardize your own or thepet's safety by trying to ride a bike or rollerblade, while they are on a leash.

Think of ways to incorporate fitness en-hancement into your pet's daily routine and

College NewsFive Steps for College Students onSecuring an InternshipBy Seomul Evans

You might have straight A's in all your classes and a stellarGPA, but these things might say little or nothing about you oryour skills to a potential employer. Your experience and howyou handle yourself in work situations is typically more im-portant.More than ever, internships are critical to landing a job forthe post-college student. They provide experience, connec-tions, networking opportunities and the ability to learn andgrow in a real-world environment. Some internships provide college credit or cash for services, but the bottom line is that the experience can pay off in hugedividends. Due to the poor economy, many companies don'thave the time or resources to offer internships. Here are fivesteps to seize internship opportunities on your own.

Talk, Talk and Keep TalkingTalk to your professors, your career advisors, your parents, your family and your friends. These people have connectionsto other professionals in your field and know what types ofjobs are available. In particular, your professors can help youset up possible internships to gain valuable experience. Be-ing vocal and persistent is the key. How will people knowyou are looking for a job if you don't tell them what you areseeking? Remember, it's not what you know, but who youknow.

Go to a Career FairCareer fairs are an excellent way to network with potentialcompanies, whether or not they are hiring new employees. Some career fairs offer interviews on the spot. At the veryleast, they give you a chance to connect face-to-face withcompanies of interest. Introduce yourself, ask questions, ob-tain a business card and write a follow-up letter explainingyour interest if an internship would become available.

Work for No or Little PayOne student I know volunteered a summer in the marketingdepartment for a performing arts center. She wrote pressreleases, created media kits, provided web copy, took vid-eos to local television stations and did anything else thatwas asked of her. What did she get paid? Nothing. However, she earned a job at this center out of college in another de-partment because of the excellent services she had provid-ed.

Volunteering for non-profit organizations in your communityis a sure-fire way to get your foot in the door. Doing commu-nity service gives you a chance to see what kinds of jobs areout there while gaining valuable experience.

Be ReadyBefore you begin the internship process, you need tohave a polished cover letter and a sharp-looking re-sume. This is where your career adviser and other men-tors can come in handy. What kind of resume besthighlights your skills and abilities? What are you goingto say in your cover letter that sets you apart from therest of the competition? What kinds of examples shouldyou have in a portfolio?

Take the time to develop these tools. I know companieswho have dismissed potential employees due to a sim-ple spelling error on their resumes. The same cover let-ter should also not be used over and over again. Thetime you spend on these materials will be well worth itin the end.

Practice InterviewingYou've impressed a potential employer enough on pa-per to land an actual interview. Now what? How do youhandle tough questions? Do you fidget with your cloth-ing or hair when you are nervous? What do you saywhen asked about your three biggest weaknesses?

Mock interviews scheduled with your career adviser oranother professor can alleviate some of these fears.Better yet, tape yourself during one of the interviewsand decide where you can use some improvement. Moreoften than not, an employer will dismiss someone whocomes across poorly in an interview regardless of theskills on paper. The more you practice, the more youwill knock the interviewer's socks off and obtain the in-ternship you want.

During tough economic times, it is essential you areprepared, aggressive and willing to do whatever it takesto land an internship and eventually a job you want anddeserve. These five steps are sure to guarantee yousuccess.

Setting Trends in Women'sClothingBy Claire Armstrong

Fashion has been around for generations and hasalways been more focused on women's clothing. It isno secret that every woman wants to look her best.Spending hours in front of the mirror everydaycomes naturally to women (and, come to think of it,some men!). There is no denying the fact that awoman's body needs to have equally stylish andglamorous clothes to match her body shape. To-day's line of women's clothing is one that representsconfidence as much as it does style and glamour.Fashion changes with every season and so there isplenty for women to choose all throughout the year.

When the summer heat is on, there are a load of mildpink, white, and other wild and exotic colors to pick.

Batiks and embroidered fabric tops are idealto get you through the heat of summer. If youcan't do without your jeans, add some off-the-shoulder tops to your wardrobe.

Mix patterns if you wish and forget about plainshirts or khakis, since summer requires lightershades of different colors. For that simple-but-elegant look, try on someloose, full-skirted dresses to match your height. If you are tall then belted dresses are sure toget you a second or even third look from peoplepassing by. The secret is to choose women'sclothing that will emphasize your curves. Sure,go ahead and look through all the magazinesand even attend fashion shows, however, don'tforget that one size doesn't fit all. You ought towear clothes that fit you well, and not what wasmeant for the girl next door. If you are of aver-age height, then skirts with slits and long topswith V-necks are what you should be wearing.Well-tailored and classic will flatter yourcurves.

You can remain youthful forever, all it takes isto get your wardrobe right and you will findplenty of opportunities to dress young. If youhave the budget there is plenty of designerclothing available today. However, you don'tneed to spend top dollar to get the latest inwomen's clothing. There are plenty of onlinestores, and discount outlets too, where you canget the latest styles for much less than youwould at many stores. Several brand nameshave their own designer outlets, which obvi-ously come at a price. If that's more your stylethen you can have exclusive designs availableat your fingertips.

Many discount stores usually offer discounts ofup to 20 percent or more than what you wouldexpect to pay at a mall. If you are lucky, youmay even find clothing for half the price. How-ever, they may not be in an area where you live.Shopping online instead will give you the op-portunity to view a large collection and evencompare prices and designs. This is most con-venient as you can opt to purchase your entirewardrobe of women's clothing online.

The bottom line is to shop wisely, in terms ofstyle, fashion, and most importantly, as peryour budget. Don't just spend your entire bud-get on one or two sets just because they lookdecent. You may find a whole lot more for asmaller.

Affordable Designer Clothes: TopQuality Fashion Line That Doesn'tPut A Hole In Your Pocket

By Dallas Hart

In the past, it was just enough to have something ade-quate to wear and people were not really concerned about de-sign or things like style and uniqueness. But fashion has comea long way since then and the populations interest has gonebeyond mere functionality and necessity. Fashion, in todaysworld, is deemed an expression of your personality; a state-ment of uniqueness, style, and lets face it - even social status.

Although it is important for people to cater to their fashionneeds and requirements as dictated by the society they movein; affordability has always been crucial. The issue of whetherto purchase expensive designer clothes or make do withsomething low priced but of lesser quality, has brought many adilemma to people who are fashion conscious. Here's somegood news, though. In more recent times, self-definition anduniqueness through fashion is not just confined to haute cou-ture clothes anymore. There is a viable alternative presentedby prevailing designer clothes trends. Fashion Clothes vis-a-vis Designer ClothesThere are clothes uniquely designed and made for a particularperson usually handled by renowned fashion designers. These are often viewed as markedly expensive becausethey showcase the creative originality of the designer. The clothing material cost and the designer talent feeof this type of clothes are extraordinarily priced.

The current fashion trend offers fashion lines ofdesigner clothes bearing the designer'strademark of high quality but is morereasonably priced and affordable. The truth isIt was not the designer who personallycreated the fashion line; rather a legal agreement has been entered into for thelegitimate use of the designer's logo.Although it is not personally created by thedesigner themselves, the manufacturersare obliged to meet the standards set bythe designer to preserve their reputation. The designer has to approve all productsthat the manufacturers create under thelogo's fashion line; thus there is still thatassurance of high quality. The obviousadvantage of this is the considerable reductionin price mainly because the manufacturers

save money with the cutback on designer talent feesand marketing costs that include product launchingparties and fashion shows.

With this set up designer clothes is indeed a more via-ble option for consumers, who want to have the kind ofclothes that bear the logo of their favorite designer intheir wardrobe yet are hesitant to pay sky-high prices.Though designer clothes are still relatively expensivein a lot of ways; they are much more affordable andmore sensible to hanker for, compared to the highclass exclusive fashion dresses that are personallycreated by the couturier themselves. Also, as everydayclothes go, they are much more acceptable and appro-priate.

These designer clothes with the value and characteris-tics of exclusive fashion clothes created by top de-signers most certainly allow you to make your ownunique fashion statement revealing your personalityand style. You can even extend your wardrobe by us-ing the techniques of mix and match for a more indi-vidualized style, exhibiting you r flair for the namesand logos of your favorite fashion designers withoutcarrying the burden of soaring price. So make yourfashion statement with affordable, high quality de-signer clothes - now.

Even thoughI've been very successful and very fortunate, I want to still be challenged andstill be nervous and still be anxious about all the things that make my careerexciting."One of 2008's most anticipated new album releases, I AM… SASHA FIERCEis Beyoncé’s first new studio collection since her Grammy-winning multi-plati-num-selling B'DAY debuted at #1 on charts around the world shortly after itsinternational release on September 4, 2006 (in celebration of Beyoncé’s 25thbirthday).Each of the discs on Beyoncé's new double album reveals a distinctly differentside of her personality, character and sensibility, a forum for the yin-and-yangof her developing artistry. One of the discs, titled I AM…, provides Beyoncé with a musical showcase fora group of intimate heartfelt ballads while the SASHA FIERCE disc gives voiceto Beyoncé's up-tempo dance-oriented other side."SASHA FIERCE is my alter ego," says Beyoncé, "and now she has a lastname. I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work andwhen I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me andwho I really am. That's why half the record, I AM…, is about who I am under-neath all the makeup, underneath the lights, and underneath all the excitingstar drama. And SASHA FIERCE is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm work-ing and when I'm on the stage. The double album allows me to take more risksand really step out of myself, or shall I say, step more into myself, and reveal aside of me that people only know me see."With I AM…, Beyoncé reveals a variety of musical aspects and interests thatmay take her fans by surprise. Citing a range of influences including "folksongs and alternative songs and acoustic guitar…stuff that's different fromwhat I sing," Beyoncé has produced, written, recorded and performed a finelycrafted selection of contemporary ballads that combine the best elements ofpop and soul music while expanding the possibilities of both genres."You can hear with 'If I Were A Boy,' (one of the album's first singles), it's not atraditional R&B song," she offers. "It's difficult to grow and to break out and donew things because people have strong expectations. I feel like at this point, Iwanted people to hear songs with stronger lyrics and songs that made youfeel. I love singing ballads because I feel like the music and the emotion in thestory is told so much better. It's a better connection because you can hear itand it's not all these other distractions. I really wanted people to hear my voiceand hear what I had to say."

Teen Health

Teen Fitness, Teen Health andCollege Health: Simple Changesto a Healthier Youby Neha Gupta)

Teen Fitness, Teen Health and College Health:Simple Changes to a Healthier You

Teen health, teen fitness and college healthis everywhere you look.Visit athttp://healthcenter-information.blogspot.com

Teen health is on TV, articles are writtenabout college health (hello, Freshman 15)and long-term studies are done on teen fit-ness.

However, all exercising aside (don’t get mewrong, exercising is crucial to teen healthand teen fitness) the main reason teenhealth and college health is so bad is in caf-eterias everywhere.

It’s very PC to be concerned with teenhealth and teen fitness. It is great publicityfor superintendents, principals and deanseverywhere to talk about teen fitness andcollege health. They put Band Aids on a sev-ered artery.

Concerned with teen health and teen fit-ness? Then the high school (some, unfortu-nately not all) will add a salad bar. And,usually it’s filled with brown “greens” staleveggies, etc. Not exactly the way to attackthe teen health and teen fitness crisis in thecountry.

Concerned with college health? The univer-sity adds an all-you-can-eat deli buffet(where sandwiches can be as artery-clog-ging as a Big Mac) for a “healthier” alterna-tive. And universities concerned with collegehealth also add the salad bar right next tothe pizza, French fries and hamburgers.

Teen health, teen fitness and college healthall start with education. It's so bad that wetook an adult disease, Diabetes, and ourterrible teen health and teen fitness hasmade a youth version of it (Type II Diabe-tes). Bad teen health and teen fitness hascreated a new disease! Think about that fora minute.

To really get to the root of teen health andcollege health, the students need to beeducated on teen fitness in general, but weneed to get back to the basics. Everyone, theoretically, knows that McDonald’s andBurger King won’t help out teen fitness. But do they really know the possible long-term damage?

Thin kids can’t see how bad their heartsare. Most overweight kids know somethingabout teen fitness and college health (like, for example, McDonalds being bad for you)but tons still don’t. Improve your Football FitnessBy: Mark Henry

l Many people like to callfootball a game of inches. However, I believe that inorder to turn these inchesinto touchdowns, many as-pects are necessary in orderfor this to take place. Thisarticle is an in-depth guideto improving your abilitiesas a football player. You aregoing to learn how to in-crease your speed, accelera-tion, agility, balance, andthe most important, strength.

There are three ways inwhich to practice increasingyour speed: Improving run-ning mechanics, improvingtechnique, and strengthen-ing your legs. Most playersdon`t have great runningmechanics and if they wouldjust improve their tech-nique, they would run a lotfaster. Leg strength is im-portant because the moreforce applied to the ground, the faster you will run. Yousimply cannot reach yourfull speed potential by justrunning sprints. A numberof elements must coincidewith each other if you wantto reach your maximumspeed potential. From a sci-entific standpoint, speed isthe by product of two ele-ments: Stride length andstride frequency. Stridelength is the distance you

cover during each step ofyour run. Stride frequency isbasically the number ofsteps you take per second.By using the following train-ing methods, you can in-crease your stride lengthand frequency; hence, in-crease of speed.

*Shuttle sprints- Start inyour preferred position, run10-15 yards, run backwardsto starting position, andthen repeat.

*Pylometric circuit- Use thisdrill no more than once aweek and not on days be-fore the big game, since thiscircuit may take a couple ofdays to recover from.

Speed and acceleration gohand-in-hand. To improveyour acceleration, repeatedsprints of more than tenseconds, performed with astanding start will be mostuseful. This will help theneuromuscular and meta-bolic qualities of the mus-cles involved. Another wayof improving acceleration isto practice accelerating asfast as possible during prac-tice.

A slow acceleration toppedwith a quick burst is anothergood method that can beused. One of the best utili-ties you can train with toincrease acceleration is us-ing the Power Blast gaunt-let. Practice with thisequipment and you`re wellon your way to increasingyour acceleration.

Ladder drills are best per-formed in increasing youragility. In sports competi-tion, the body is constantlyasked to perform move-ments from unusual angles. The main purpose of theagility ladder program is topromote a wide range ofdifferent foot and movementpatterns. These movementsbecome second nature, andthe body is able to quicklyrespond to the various an-gles required. You can im-prove your agility bypracticing the movements intraining and the agility lad-der is a useful tool in a goodagility program. The com-mon ladder is roughly tenyards long with eighteeninch squares, but you canmake your own ladder justusing tape or even sticks. When you start the agilityladder program, introduceyour body to two to fourdifferent movements. Onceyou get good at thesemovements, introduce your-self to new patterns to keepyour body guessing. Many of today`s athletesare using balance trainingas a crucial part of theiroverall training program.

Sports cont.Balance is needed by run-ners in wooded areas, soc-cer players need balancewhen taking the ball on avolley from just behindthemselves, and even tennisplayers need balance whenreaching for a drop shot. Each of these situations re-quires the exercise of justthe right amount of flexibil-ity at the right time. Withbalance training, the idea isto recreate and manipulatewhat you would do in agame situation. Maintainingbalance means having thecenter of your mass withinthe middle of your base forsupport. In the past, peoplebelieved that perfect bal-ance was best illustrated bystanding on one leg andstaying as still as possiblefor as long as possible. Thismethod still works but thereare also other methods inwhich are useful. Exercisessuch as the one-leg punchand jump steps are bothperfect for improving yourbalance.

Another point to rememberis that maximal strengthtraining should be a pro-gression from generalstrength training with maxi-mal loads. Heavy maximalexercise is only used foradvanced strength trainees.Good abdominal and lowerback strength is crucial ifheavy lifting exercises aregoing to be used.

Pylometric exercises areclassified into bounding, hopping, and jumpingmovements. These exer-cises demand a high forceof contraction in responseto a rapid loading of length-ening the muscles. For thisreason, they should be re-named rebound or revers-ible action exercises. Thetraining effort increases theforce production in themuscles, but the move-ments are performed atfaster speeds than that ofweight-training exercises.Rebounding exercises aremore common to the sprint-ing and jumping reps oneach leg, with at least oneminute of rest betweensets. Endurance should notbe a factor. Running withweighted jackets andsprinting uphill are alsouseful exercises because itadds resistance to thesprint movement, whichplaces greater load on themuscles.Football is not an easy sportby any mean, but beingphysically prepared of itstough demands are half ofthe battle

The other half is usingwhat you know and a littleof bit of luck as well. Youhave learned the five mostimportant areas of physicalfitness needed to be a goodfootball player.
