    Last week, Johan and a group of scouts decided to

    raise fund for their Annual Scouts Jamboree in KijangCamp. The boys organised themselves into several groups.

    One of the groups went around the houses and washed cars

    and painted the fences.

    Another group of scouts trimmed the hedges and

    cleaned the compounds of the houses. They also went around

    and collected old newspapers, bottles and cans. They sold the

    things they collected at the recycling centre. They were happy

    because they made some money and helped to keep the

    environment clean.

    At the end of the week, the boy scouts counted 'the

    money they collected. They were very delighted to find outthat they had collected more than RM200.00. They were

    Mak Limah, who rear geese, lives at a villagein the heart of the city.

    One windy night, Mak Limah forgot to closedone of the windows in her house. As she was sleeping,a burglar climbed the window and entered her woodeenhouse.

    He stole Mak Limahs expensive jewelleries.After stealing, he went out of the house. Suddenly,he saw Mak Limahs geese approached him. He was

    running as fast as deer when he realized that thegeese chase him. But, it was too late. The geesepecked him. Mak Limah woke up when she heard theloud noise. She went out of her house and saw theburglar. The burglar could not manage to steal herexpensive jewelleries.
