UPSC Course Structure

This course structure is intended to be used for SARTHI Batch of UPSC 2020-21.

Stages of course:

1) Prelims + Mains Comprehensive Course

2) Mains Test Series

3) Interview Guidance Programmes

Details of all 3 stages of guidance:

1) Prelims + Mains Comprehensive Course: (For UPSC CSE Prelims Exam to be conducted on 27th

June 2021)

• Course starts: December Third/ Fourth week

• Teaching Component:

o No. of teaching sessions: 160+ sessions

o Duration of each session: 2 hours each

o Teaching Methodology:

▪ Sessions will have to be conducted in live-interactive format until the

government regulations don’t permit the offline operations for

educational institutions. We have all the facilities in place to ensure

students get classroom experience in the online environment as well.

Students can get their doubts cleared directly from the faculties.

o Modules to be covered:

▪ GS Subjects: Polity, History, Art and Culture, Economy, Environment,

Geography, Science and Technology, Ethics, Current Affairs, etc.

▪ CSAT

o Teaching Part end date: 31st May (Tentative)

• Practice Component:

o No. of practice tests for Prelims: 25+ (Including GS, CSAT)

o Test Series duration:

▪ Starts: In January

▪ Ends: On 13th June

Features of our Course:

• Special Sessions of serving and retired officers, academicians, Toppers Interaction

• Regular counselling sessions for to discuss issues, challenges, strategy with Senior

faculties.

• Mentorship programme: A group of students will be assigned to an expert faculty who will

be available for consultation on phone and in person for study plan, regular monitoring of

students' progress, academic performance, and any other issue.

For those students who clear UPSC Prelims exam in 2020-21, following 2 courses of “Intensive

Mains Guidance” and “Intensive Interview Guidance” will be given without any additional

charges.

2) Mains Test Series: (For UPSC CSE Mains Exam to be conducted from 17th Sept 2021)

• Test Series starts: 1st week of July

• Test Series ends: Last week of Aug/First week of Sept

• Tests of the following Subjects:

o Essay

o GS 1

o GS 2

o GS 3

o GS 4

o Optional Subjects:

▪ Political Science and International Relations

▪ History

▪ Geography

▪ Anthropology

• Students will get evaluation of their answer copies from experts like Avinash

Dharmadhikari Sir who has been known to evaluate candidates’ performance on the

lines of actual UPSC evaluation

• Post-test discussion sessions will be conducted

3) Interview Guidance Programmes:

• Interview Guidance programme will consist of:

o Guidance Sessions

o Group discussions

o Interview Workshop

o Mock Interviews with expert panel members at Pune, Mumbai and Delhi
