Instruction Sheet for Buzzer Jumper Kit 1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power. 2. Remove the 2 screws securing the control assembly to the top of the refrigerator compartment. See Figure 1. Instruction Sheet W10861569 Rev. A 1/16 WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing. Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock. Replace all parts and panels before operating. 3. Disconnect the ground terminal and 2 connectors to remove the control assembly. See Figure 2. 6. Remove the paper backing from the sticker on the back of the supplied buzzer jumper and attach it to the inside left wall inside the control assembly as shown. IMPORTANT: Make sure the buzzer does not interfere with the lens cover or mounting of the control assembly. See Figure 5. 8. Connect the ground terminal and 2 connectors removed in Step 3. See Figure 2. 9. Secure the control assembly in place with the 2 screws removed in Step 2, as shown in Figure 1. 10. Replace all parts and panels. — 1 — Kit Contains: 1 Buzzer Jumper 1 Instruction Sheet FIGURE 1 FIGURE 2 4. Locate the CN5 (buzzer line) connector on the PC board in the control assembly. Disconnect the 3-pin connector with WH/BR wires. See Figure 3. 5. Bend the WH/BR wires as shown and secure with electrical tape. See Figure 4. 4. Locate the CN5 (buzzer line) connector on the PC board in
the control assembly. Disconnect the 3-pin connector with WH/BR wires. See Figure 3.
5. Bend the WH/BR wires as shown and secure with electrical tape. See Figure 4.
