Newspaper banners are headlines for a major story in a newspaper.

The banners were placed in wire frames outside newsagents’ shops so people would see the headlines before they bought a newspaper.

Select a newspaper banner from the following six banners and find the story outline for your headline. Write the first paragraph of the news story in your own words on the back of your chosen banner.
