Run transaction code SPDD, press Execute button on initial screen with following selections:

2. In the next screen, you will see list objects under modifications and enhancements node (the object will be quite similar like the following screen where it will have one of the following sections: modification assistants, without modification assistants, Deleted object)

The Dictionary object itself could be Database Tables, Structures, type group, domains, data elements.

Note: Green node means the enhancement has been applied and result was successful

Blue node means the enhancement NEED to be applied.

3. Expand the blue nodes only, starting at the top (in this sample below is: Structures). The sample also works the same for Database Tables case.

Click on the yellow traffic light, on the next screen click Accept proposal

Pop-up appears:

Press Enter

Another Dialog pop-up appears

Press Yes

Pop-up appears

Press Enter

System asks for Transport Request Number, use existing one or create new one

Press Enter

Once fixed, please note the entry will disappear from the SPDD-list.

In case version differences appear for DataBase tables pls take note of the next 2 screenshots:

Here take the old version by double-clicking on it (004); then it will change in the Proposal column. Then click Accept Proposal.

Here clicking on the yellow traffic light leads you to above screen. Simply click Accept Proposal.

Repeat the above for all structures/DB Tables with yellow traffic lights in SPDD-list

4. Another node in blue contains Domains

Put cursor on the Domain name and press 8th button from the left (Reset to Original)

A pop-up appears

Press Enter

Put cursor on the Domain name and press 4th button from the left (Activate).

A dialog pop-up appears

The Domain should disappear from the SPDD list.

5. If in step 3 and 4 only you dont find any objects with yellow traffic icon or Reset icon and you found different traffic icon like RED colour then you need to check with DSO in this case. Since the solution for RED colour traffic icon object would be to accept the modification OR reset to original depending the content that has been modified by SAP inside the Dictionary object itself.

6. Another node in blue contains Deleted Objects

Expand the nodes 1 by 1 an click on the red traffic lights

The following pop-up appears

Choose Delete All

Enter Transport Request Number or create new one.

Here Create button is clicked, on next screen enter description

Transport Request has been created, pop-up appears

Press Enter

Repeat these steps for all objects to be deleted (in this case Table Indexes)

The objects with red traffic lights will disappear from the list.

Once done and no more blue nodes exist in the SPDD-list (only green nodes remain), Basis can continue with the runbook.

SPAU steps

EXAMPLE: OBJECTS LIST PRE UPGRADE

Expand on the objects that have blue colors

Click on the traffic icon for the object that highlighted non-green color (could be red, white, yellow color)

For note correction and without modification assistants list, SAP will not show assistance so the following information could appear instead
