telah dirilis pada tanggal 28 Februari 2008 kemarin.Produknya meliputi AVG Internet Security (

mencakup semua produk) , Anti Virus dan Anti Virus

plus Firewall.

Tambahan feature utamanya adalah fasilitas LinkScanner web exploit protection (real-time safe searching and surfing technologies). Perbaikan/tambahan di versi ini adalah

AVG 8.0 Free Edition ?

Sampai saat ini AVG 8.0 hanya tersedia untuk versi komersial ( AVG Anti Virus = USD34.99, AVG Anti virus plus Firewall = USD 44.99 dan AVG Internet Security seharga

USD 54.99 ). Untuk AVG Free Edition masih versi 7.5 (AVG 7.5.516.pri2). Semoga saja

AVG 8.0 Free Edition juga segera tersedia, dan tidak dilupakan. Mengingat salah satu

faktor suksesnya dan populernya AVG ini karena adanya AVG Free Edition.

AVG versi 8.0 menyediakan download trial version yang bisa dicoba semua fasilitasnyaselama 30 hari. Saya sendiri sudah mencoba menggunakan AVG 8.0 Anti Virus ini, tetapisedikit kecewa dengan penggunaan CPU yang cukup berat dibanding sebelumnya.

Mungkin karena integrasi dengan anti spyware dan tambahan fasilitas lainnnya. Jika
