  • 1. Annunciation

  • 1. In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth to a virgin; and the virgins name was Mary. Luke 1,26-28

  • 2. He came to her and said, Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you! Luke1:28

  • 3. But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. Luke 1:29

  • 4. The angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Luke 1:30

  • 5. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. Luke 1:31

  • 6. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and of his kingdom there will be no end. Luke: 1:32,33

  • 7. Mary said to the angel, How can this be, since I have no husband? Luke 1: 34

  • 8. The angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Luke 1:35

  • 9. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. Luke 1:35

  • 10. Behold I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word. Luke 1:38

  • 2. The Visitation

  • 1. "In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country to a city of Judah, and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth." Luke 1: 39-45

  • 2. "When Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leapt in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit." Luke 2:41

  • 3. "She exclaimed in a loud cry, 'Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb." Luke 2:42

  • 4. "Mary said 'My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden." Luke 2:46-48

  • 5. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for He who is mighty has done great things for me and holy is His name. Luke 2:48-50

  • 6. His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation. Luke 2:50

  • 7. He has shown strength with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. Luke 2:51

  • 8. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree. Luke 2:52

  • 9. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. Luke 2:53

  • 10. He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy, as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to His posterity forever. Luke 2:54,55

  • 3. The Nativity

  • "While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to be delivered." Luke 2:6

  • 2. "She gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths." Luke 1:7

  • 3. "She laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn." Luke 1:7

  • 4. "In that region there were shepherds out in the fields and the angel of the Lord appeared to them." Luke 1:8,9

  • 5. Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people. Luke 1:10

  • 6. For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 1:11

  • 7. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased. Luke 1:14

  • 8. "Behold, wise men from the east came and going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother." Matt 2:1,11

  • 9. "They fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh." Matt 2:11

  • 10. "Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart." Luke 1:19

  • 4. The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

  • 1. "And when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord." Luke 2:22

  • 2. "Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon and this man was righteous and devout. Luke 2:25

  • 3. "And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lords Christ." Luke 2:26

  • 4. "And when the parents brought in the child Jesus, he took him up in his arms and blessed God." Luke 2:27,28

  • 5. Lord, now let thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word. Luke 2:29

  • 6. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation which thou has prepared in the presence of all peoples."Luke 2:30, 31

  • 7. A light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to thy people Israel. Luke 2:32

  • 8. "Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother, Behold this child is set for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is spoken against. Luke 2:34

  • 9. "And a sword will pierce through your own soul also, that thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed. Luke 2:35

  • 10. "They returned into Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth. And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him. Luke 2:39,40

  • 5. The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

  • "Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom." Luke 2:41,42

  • 2. "When the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus staying behind in Jerusalem." Luke 2:43

  • 3. "When they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him. After three days they found him in the temple." Luke 2:45,46

  • 4. "He was sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Luke 2:46

  • 5. "All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. Luke 2:47

  • 6. Son, why have you treated us so? Behold your father and I have been looking for you anxiously. Luke 2:48

  • 7. How is it that you sought me? Did you not know that I must be in my Fathers house?" Luke 2:49

  • 8. "They did not understand the saying which he spoke to them." Luke 2:50

  • 9. "He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart. Luke 2:51

  • 10. "And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man." Luke 2:52
