    Three taxa of section Vaginatae viz., Amanita hunanensis Y.B.Peng & L.H.Liu., A. hemibapha sub-sp. ochracea Z.L.Yang and A. hemibapha

    sub-sp. hemibapha (Berk. & Br.) Sacc. were illustrated and described in detail. The former two species are new records for India while A.

    hemibapha sub-sp. hemibapha has been recently described from tropical regions of Western Ghats of Kerala that has some significant

    morphological and anamtomical differences from temperate specimens, which were discussed in detail. The ecology, distribution and the

    edibillity were also described.

    This is the first paper of systematic research into Hymenochaete genus in the Republic of Macedonia. Of the total of seven species of this

    genus in Europe, with the research in the Republic of Macedonia to date, the following six species have been recorded: Hymenochaete

    cinnamomea, H. cruenta, H. fuliginosa, H. rubiginosa, H. subfuliginosa and H. tabacina.
