I JOHN 4 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every

spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:

35 God wants to be loved. God wants to love you... [ ] Then God, wanting to make love, He had to some--make something lovable. He had to make something gentle like Himself. He had to make something that could be loved. He had to make something of His own

nature. 37 You couldn't love nothing that wasn't of your own nature. Loving has to unite with love. A husband and wife has to love one another, if they ever make the grade. Family has to love

one another, if they ever make the grade. Something to be loved... You search

everywhere, find a girl to be your wife that you love. She searches, finding a husband that she

could love.

When David let loose what he had, God took it and blessed it with a hidden power. So it

born that way.That's the way you get blessed, is when you

are born that way, not when some priest bless you, or some preacher baptizes you, but when God, by the Holy Spirit, gives new Birth.

Then you're born, a child of God.


That isn't what makes a man live a different life; no more than joining church, or putting

your name on a book, or being baptized. What makes a man, is when God, by a birth, gives him the hidden power, and blesses him by

the Holy Spirit in his life, what makes him what he is.


That's where it is. The Christian don't fight back. The Christian don't fuss about it. The

Christian sets still. And that hidden power, the blessing of the Holy Ghost goes to work

for him, brings it out.


And every man or woman that's born of the Spirit of God, when the hour comes, make your

decision and stand for God without any uncertainty. In the midst of trouble you'll

have fellowship.


The hidden power that was in Daniel's heart come out and clothed him all over.

It was that hidden power, that blessing of God, that was upon that prophet's life, that

enshrouded him with a flaming Fire; like down at Dothan that day when Gehazi looked and saw what was around Elijah: Angels of Fire,

chariots of Fire. There that hidden power was around Daniel.


I tell you, then the heavens opened up. That little Spirit was on him, opened the way

through the clouds, through the stars, through the mist, until he seen Jesus standing at the right-hand of God. He said, "Behold, I

see heavens open."


146 Brother, I'd rather have It than all the education, all the money you could pile before me. All my education, I will drop here. All my

mental theology, I will leave here. All my wealth, I will leave here. But the hidden

power, that thing that made the certainty of the Gospel, will take you to heaven, and

carry you through the valleys of the shadow of death. Amen.


He had a blessing. He had hidden power, not a rabbit's foot, not a charm in his pocket, but something in his soul that changed him

and made him a different man.

send it out. He--He... God just gets glory; that's all. The simple hear it and are glad. See?


They had hidden power. They dressed like other men. They walked on the street. They

eat like other men. But they'd had a blessing inside of them, that give them a

certainty to know where they were standing.

150 What makes these inspired ministers preach the Gospel? What makes them? Perhaps one time drunkards; one time

gamblers; one time bad men; all of a sudden something changed. And here they stand, preaching the Gospel and giving their lives

out. And some of them, nearly, living just as poor as they can. When they were

businessman and could be rich, ride in big cars and have luxury, but they sacrificed it and give

it away. Why? God's in His people reconciling the world to Himself. God's in

His people.


What is it strikes a little woman or a little man, and he rises, and his face lights up like a

candle, and speaks with a language he knows nothing about, and another one rise under the

same kind of an inspiration and give a message to a church? God in His people.

152 What is it comes to this platform, meeting after meeting, and performs the same miracles that Jesus did when He was here on

earth? It's God in His people. No matter how much it would be in me; it has to be in

you too. Because it won't work just by me by myself. It takes you and I together to do it (That's right.): all of us together, God in

Now according to these verses, when a man experiences the depth of God in his life, it is an actual personal experience of the

Spirit of God indwelling him, and his mind is illuminated by the wisdom and

knowledge of God through the Word. But the depth of Satan will be in that he will

attempt to destroy this. He will as always attempt to make a substitute for this reality of

God.

How will he do it? He will take away the knowledge of the truth of God--destroy the

Word by putting forth his own, "Yea hath God said?" He will then substitute the personal

Christ in our spirits. He will do it, as he caused Israel to do the same; by a human being reigning as king instead of God. The

born-again experience will be rejected in favor of church joining.
