Repertoire and Study Materials:Your choral music will be shipped via FedEx to the address you provided in your audition application approx. November 20. You will receive a postcard a few days prior to the arrival of your music packet. Your music study materials have been prepared for you and will be available for downloading to the electronic device of your choice including being burned to a CD. These rehearsal/study materials should be posted on the ACDA website beginning November 20, Rehearsal study materials will remain open to download until December 30.

Music Screening: There will be a repertoire knowledge screening event for the first session in Dallas....this will consist of a walk through by ACDA personnel while the choir sings each piece to assure that each singer is prepared on the repertoire for their choir.... If in question we will give you an opportunity to privately demonstrate that you do know the music...if you cannot, you will not be sent home, nor will we provide tutorials on site. You will become an Audit.  If you are significantly late to a rehearsal, miss an entire rehearsal or some other major infraction of rules, decided upon by a committee...you will become an Audit.

Audits: Any singer who becomes an audit will be allowed to attend all rehearsals, seated in the back of the rehearsal hall and learn as the other singers do, however, you will not be allowed to sing in the concert. Thus you will continue to learn and be allowed to attend guest performances and social activities but will lose the privilege of singing in the concert.

We are honored to have you sing with us....

Congratulations again to all singers, their families, teacher sponsors and communities - we look forward to seeing you in Dallas!

Voluntary Survey

It takes a long time for 300 signers to walk on and off stage. While the audience is sitting there awaiting the appearance of THEIR singer others may wish to know more about the choir as a whole....who makes up an Honor Choir such as this?. How talented they are! We invite you to fill out a survey online so that we may gather information (anonymously, and not to be shared outside of these honor choirs) that we can announce about each choir as they walk on stage. “95% of these singers are honor students”, etc. Please take a few moments to fill out the form online at this address: http://snipurl.com/acdahonorchoirsurvey

Thank you!!Please return this form by November 15
