Welcome to the Ventura Council University of Scouting
Welcome. Here we are again with our third year of Ventura County’s University of Scouting. The first hour will be going over all the events occuring in 2018, girls in scouting, and all the things our council is doing for you. Bring a friend, and join us on the ….. Journey to Excellence!
We have added new classes and rotated out other classes to appear another year. Some of the new classes being offered are:

Running ILST 1 hour training to train the trainers (continued from 2017)
Webelos to Scout class for Parents of Webelos
Story Telling
Geocaching
Patch Trading and Collecting
Life after Eagle
High Adventure places - grouping all of them together in a 1 hour class.
Please update your Youth Protection and take “This is Scouting” before you come. Go to vccbsa.org, “Training”, “Adult Leader Training”, and select This is Scouting or Youth Protection Training (http://www.scouting.org/Training/Adult.aspx) and log into My Scouting.
Also, you will help us by registering early. It takes as much work to prepare for 100 that don’t show up as it is for a 100 that do. Please be one I can count on.
You make a difference. There are volunteer opportunities available if you would like to combine your day with classes and staff duties.
Yours in Scouting
