Page 2 VOLUME 87, NO.48

There is no way to measure the value of a good night’s sleep, especially when life is stressful and we badly need rest. Of course, we

would not deliberately do things that would cause sleepless nights. But let us think about what this: impetuousness causes sleep-

less nights.

Making decisions that are not thought will always---ALWAYS … cause sleepless nights. Before making decisions, take some time to

―live‖ with the choice we have made. Give God a chance to change our mind or guide us in a different direction. If we our decision

keeps us awake at night, there is a good chance that God is speaking to us and trying to change our mind.

So we better sleep on the decision, and spend time praying before we actually make the decision! Then.. .sweet dreams!

― it is better to sleep on things beforehand than lie awake about them afterwards.‖ Baltasar Gracian

esting topics Bro.Heyasa : Does God have a

plan for you?, An unlikely Candidate’ Flickering

Faith , Deprived but not Deserted, Working with

Jesus, Working with Others, Working with Your-

self, When Threats Retreat, When God Messes

with Your Plan, and God’s Plan Fulfilled.

CSC FUN DAYS REALLY FUN

It was really fun CSC fun days for the students to bal-

ance their life here in MVC. Usual games were played

by the student players according to schools. It was truly

filled with energy and enthusiasm though tiresome. The

fun days had nightly presentations with which a choral

group from University of Mindanao came to sing the

winning pieces they won recently and the fantastic

tricks of the Dove manipulator who is also a nurse by

profession, Mr. Dexter Deauna. Birit King and Queen

showdown, and ice box challenge were the highlights of

the CSC Fun days. -Plendy Catalan- Dexter Deauna with CSC Officers

“You are now in your student’s life; Let

your mind dwell upon the spiritual sub-

jects.. You are now in the formative period

of character; nothing with you is to be

considered trivial or unimportant which

will detract from your highest holiest

interest, your efficiency in the prepara-

tion to do the work God has assigned

you.”

EG White, Adventist Home,p.53

When all your hopes are gone, that’s the

time God’s hope steps in to bless your

hopelessness. God is the only faithful

Father who cares and provides the

needs of His children. Are you still in

hopeless point? Remember, the HOPE is

coming your way. God blesses you!
