In his first two seasons Haith has led Miami to 14league wins including victories over nine of the 11 ACC teams. Last seasonMiami led the ACC in scoring defense holding opponents to 65.1 points pergame.

In his first season Haith took a Miami program that was picked to finishlast in the conference in the preseason ACC media poll and led it to the postseason for the first time since 2002.

tory. Miami won it’s first game against North Carolina at the Dean SmithCenter, the Hurricanes recorded the school’s first ACC Tournament win, hosted it’s first NIT game, and won it’s first NIT road game.

Miami finished with an 18-16 overall record last season including sevenACC wins, knocked off two ranked teams, and advanced to the post-seasonfor the second straight season.

With the Hurricanes NIT appearance last season Haith became just thesecond coach in Miami history to take UM to the post season in his first twoseasons.

Success, however, is something that has followed Haith where ever he hascoached. In his 15 seasons as an assistant at the collegiate level, he was a partof programs that won one NIT Championship, advanced the NCAA SweetSixteen three times, reached one Elite Eight and one Final Four.
