Task of the competence networks Savonia’s education and RDI activities are focused and

profiled as competence networks. Resources are targeted to competence networks

specialization and roles selected against the national landscape,

prospects for livelihoods, economy and services.

Part of strategy operational policy of the competence networks 1/2 Most of Savonia’s RDI is implemented in the competence

networks. Networks are linked to work life and they produce

innovative solutions and services. They facilitate student’s training to become experts in their field.

Part of strategy operational policy of the competence networks 2/2 Basis of the comptence networks is in the expertise of

several degree programmes. These networks connect research and teaching staff and

the students in joint development projects. Master’s degree programme is part of each comptence

network. International dimension is characteristic to it .
