ACCREDITATIONSaint Leo University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist, and doctoral degrees.

ACADEMICSAt University Campus, Saint Leo University’s four academic colleges offer 40 degree programs taught by more than 180 full-time faculty members and adjunct instructors. Classes at University Campus are kept small. The faculty to student ratio is 1 to 14.

CAMPUS FACILITIESLocated 45-minutes north of Tampa, Saint Leo University’s residential campus sits on 294 acres of land and features rolling hills and beautiful lakeside views. The campus is home to 11 residence halls, six academic buildings, a library, two student centers, an indoor activity center, sports complex, and three unique dining venues.

RANKINGSSaint Leo is ranked as one of the best values (No. 4) in higher education and one of the best regional universities (No. 26) in the South, according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges for 2021. Additionally, Diverse: Issues in Higher Education magazine ranks Saint Leo among the top 100 institutions for minority students.

TUITIONSaint Leo University offers a quality education at a great value. Tuition for the 2020-2021 academic year at University Campus is $23,990. The average annual cost for a residence hall room is $8,100 and the unlimited meal plan for a year is $5,400.

ATHLETICSApproximately 450 student-athletes participate in NCAA Division II at Saint Leo University. Saint Leo is a member of the Sunshine State Conference and offers 23 intercollegiate teams, including cheerleading. Sports include acrobatics & tumbling, baseball, basketball*, beach volleyball, cross country*, golf*, lacrosse*, soccer*, softball, swimming*, tennis*, indoor track*, and outdoor track*.

ECONOMIC IMPACTAn economic impact study conducted in 2019 revealed that Saint Leo University had a $343.4 million impact on the Tampa Bay-area economy, creating 3,000 jobs. Across the nation, the university’s impact was $939.9 million, generating 7,000 jobs a year.

GLOBAL REACHStudents from more than 100 countries choose Saint Leo University to pursue their degrees. Saint Leo is ranked No. 3 in the South for Most International Students by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges. As of Fall 2020, international students represent 14% of the overall student population at University Campus and that number is growing. Morocco/Colombia/France CAREER READINESSSaint Leo faculty offer a wealth of industry experience and partner with current professionals to offer a learning curriculum that prepares students for jobs. In many degree programs, students have the opportunity to perform internships and network with industry professionals. To complement this learning, the Office of Career Services offers a variety of resources and events to help students prepare for careers and find jobs. Last year the office hosted more than 40 events.

STUDENT LIFESaint Leo University offers a vibrant living and learning community with 63% of the student population living on campus. Students have access to participate in more than 70 clubs and organizations and countless community-wide service projects. Last year, Saint Leo students, faculty, and staff dedicated more than 2,200 hours to community service.

FINANCIAL AIDAbout 95% of students receive financial aid from Saint Leo University in the form of scholarships and/or grants from the university. Last year, the university awarded more than $27.8 million in scholarships and grants to University Campus students.
