CHAPTER 14

FREE WILL AND ENERGY

We are very pleased to continue our presentations and to give you anopportunity to learn about energy in yet another way. A great deal hasbeen said in regard to light and energy, but the amazing thing is that agreat deal remains to be said.

Energy is an aspect of the continuity of eternity and that applies to thephysical form and to the spiritual aspects of energy. All things arecomprised of light and energy and take on a physical form for a varietyof reasons, but in the continuum of eternity, energy and light areongoing. Energy and light can take on the characteristic of attractingand repelling negativity.

It is correct to assume that energy is neutral because, yes, that is true.Basically, it is. But when energy flows through a given avenue such asthe human form (such as your body) it absorbs a great deal of the othercharacteristics of your body.

Let us not confuse you. Indeed you are light and energy but, as you drawupon your Universal resources such as intuition and creativity, asintuition flows through you, energy enters your body and flows throughit. As it does, the characteristics of personality and free will can beabsorbed. So too, can other people's energy be absorbed into your

system. All of these things can produce physical blocks. All of thesethings can produce the energy to release those blocks.

What is the basis of your decision to release, to attract and to repel?Many of you would think that it is an intellectual decision or anemotional decision, but, in truth, it is free will at work, using emotionsand personality as vehicles.

It is very, very important to understand that free will was given to youas a gift to allow you the opportunity to receive your good. For, in theearly stages of creation there came a time when negativity becameapparent on your planet and that is referred as the Fall from Grace. Butwhat it really was, was a willingness to accept the concept of positivityand negativity. In order to allow mankind an avenue to conduct his orher daily affairs, it became necessary to supply another element ofchoice and that element was free will.

Many individuals misconstrue free will and feel that it implies that theycan do whatever they wish. But the nature of free will is that it is yourattractor of the positive and your repellent of the negative energies thatare all around you. All of your choices really boil down to whether youwill accept the positive or negative in your life, until of course, you growin such wisdom that you are able to transcend cause and effect... whichis really nothing more than positive or negative acceptance of thatenergy into your life.

Free will and energy are vehicles that can move your life forwarddramatically. When we describe using energy and light as spiritual tools,we are describing them as vehicles. As you grow and your spiritual toolsbecome more refined, you will not need vehicles such as personality, egoand free will. Not so much. You will begin to see the positive andnegative energy flows and to be able to adjust them as they come in. Butthis takes a long time and so we want to address another way to changeenergy behind the scenes.

Free will is a very subtle business and can often be confused with ego.When things are not going well in your lives it is easy to assume thatyou have sunken into negative thoughts, that ego is in the way or thatyou are not doing something metaphysical, such as releasing. In truth, itis free will acting without your permission.

This is a very significant thing to understand. Free will, until it is dealtwith on the unconscious level, appears to make individual choices thatseem out of the realm of your control and are often ascribed to



emotions, ego and personality. But, it is much easier to understand freewill as energy and to uplift yourselves in conjunction with free will.

A great deal of difficulty in manifesting change comes about becausethere is resistance to change. And, as there is resistance to change, freewill acts in concert with the subconscious to present a negative picture.This is not meant to be a difficult concept, but it is a new one so it isgoing to take a while to understand how the dynamics work.

Free will must be dealt with at the very deepest level. You cannotconsciously tell your free will what to do. That is not usually verysuccessful and that is very often why negative pictures continue topresent themselves, because the energy behind the scenes, in concertwith free will, has not been changed.

How do you contact free will? How does free will become in alignmentwith your energies? How do you use free will constructively in your lifeas an energy form? It begins by understanding the nature of energy. Itbegins by understanding that energy is only neutral until it enters yourbody. At the time energy enters your body, it takes on characteristicssuch as the emotional overtones that sink into the subconscious andpresent themselves as old tapes. It is very important to understand thatthese tapes will play themselves in concert with free will until you takeaction into your own hands, intercept them and understand that yourunconscious and free will, will run you without your actual knowledge,and that that is what is occurring.

Negativity in the life can gradually be disposed of as you begin to shiftyour energies within your body on a regular basis. This is one of thereasons personal color is stressed over and over again, and one of thereasons sending yourself love and light are crucial to your spiritualdevelopment. For, if your emotional overtone is that you do not loveyourself and do not think yourself worthy of positivity and spirituality inthe life, or that you are finding it difficult to accept your good, thenwhat happens is that, as that energy that enters your body as a neutralelement and flows through your body, it accepts the message from theunconscious, the negative message that you have unconsciously giventhe Universe.

We realize that you may have thought that a negative message simplyfloated out of your unconscious to the Universe. That is not necessarilytrue. It actually came through your body as a physical form of energyand entered the Universe in physical form. Remember, all things arecomprised of light and energy.



So, in physical form, your free will has acted on your behalf and inconcert with your subconscious, to send a picture that does not bringyou positive results. Now, this may be not at all in concert with themessages you are consciously sending to the Universe. This may not beat all in concert with what you are practicing on a very conscious level,so you must begin to dilute those old tapes as rapidly as possible.

Indeed, you can use standard methods of raising your self-esteem, suchas affirmations, they are most helpful. But, in order to change thepicture on a long term basis, it is necessary to understand how thenegativity enters the Universe. It is also necessary to begin, on thedeepest level, to send out a positive light. It is necessary to take a littletime to alter the energy behind the scenes. It is necessary to begin todeal with your deepest feelings about yourself. What is going on behindthe curtain? What is going on in the subtle unconscious levels that youmay have thought no longer existed?

A lot of what happens to the subconscious is that it has absorbed oldways of viewing things and old habits. And, while many of you havetaken great pains to alter so much of the conscious, to use your energiesand your tools, you have neglected to understand that the subconsciousis like a surface that simply absorbs, without discretion, what it is givenand it does not make the choice to dispose of those things that are nolonger applicable to you in your life. You make that choice.

When you are using light and energy, you are conducting your life asliving Masters. But, when you forget the element of free will and theunconscious activity in concert with free will, then the life can take onthe roller coaster effect of humanhood, the ups and downs. Beginning touse your energy to alter your subconscious and free will is a mostinteresting concept, and can take you to greater heights of selfunderstanding than almost anything we have disclosed.

Once the unconscious understands that it is no longer your habit to benegative, that it is no longer your habit to be self punitive, unloving orunhappy or whatever it is that is mirroring itself in your live inunsatisfactory ways... when the unconscious understands that... thenfree will acts in concert to express positivity from the deepest level andto bring about significant changes.

We are using subconscious and unconscious interchangeably and werealize that is most likely not theoretically correct for you. But it is fairto say that there are levels to the subconscious and unconscious and



both of those levels need to be addressed.

The way to directly deal with your unconscious and, consequently, toreach that element, that arm of activity known as free will, is throughthe acceptance of yourself as a positive energy resource. It is really thatsimple. If you accept yourself as a negative energy resource on anylevel, the unconscious accepts that immediately and reflects that toyou, so you have physical blockages, spiritual difficulties and the lifedoes not progress in an orderly manner.

Free will was given to you as a discretionary arm. But, because it is notused as an apparatus, as a vehicle, because it is allowed to make its ownchoices, it very often absorbs what is most predominant on the deepestand inner plane and so the energy that flows through you, if notproperly directed, absorbs those elements of negativity and returns themto the Universe. And, FOR CERTAIN, those pictures will become negativeimages in your life.

Many of you have overcome a great deal of this, already, and we wouldsay to you simply to be alert and aware when negativity begins to creepin and to reassert, to yourself, that you are a positive expression ofenergy. As you visualize your personal color, commit to being a positiveexpression of energy, and begin to re-enforce that as you envision yourgold light before you go to sleep at night: that you are a positiveexpression of energy. If you are able, open your chakras and let thatenergy and gold light flow through you as a positive expression ofenergy.

This discussion relates very much to the The Buddha Consciousnessdiscussion in "Spiritual Healing," Chapter 7, Your Mouth. As you speakyour word, as words flow out of your mouth, be aware of the condition ofthose words and that the unconscious is listening, that is absorbs like asponge those things which are at your heart.

So, your heart must become convinced that you are a positiveexpression of energy. Your heart must become convinced that you areready for dramatic change in your life, and your heart must beconvinced that you deserve extraordinary positivity in your life. Whenyour heart knows those things, and as the energy flows through yourbody, that is absorbed. As your heart deeply feels those things, theunconscious also absorbs those images, free will acts upon that and so,automatically, you are working effectively with cause and effect.Automatically, you are creating positivity in your life rather thanautomatically creating blocks, dissatisfaction and negativity.



Free will was given in hope that you would have automatic and positiveresponses to cause and effect, but, because it is not dealt with in apositive way, the lower road is taken and negativity is expressed in thelife. We are giving you the simplest formula possible to no longer acceptyourself as a negative apparatus of energy. When you see yourself aslight and energy, when you visualize your personal color, when youmake your affirmations, when you offer your wishes to the Universe forwhat you truly know you deserve, you will receive them.

What you ask for you get without fail and without question. But, if yourdeeper recesses are unknown to you, then free will and negativity aretaking over, because they are sending a powerful image, from theemotion that is behind your conviction, that you are an accepting victimof negativity. You MUST have a powerful emotional conviction of yourwillingness to change, of your commitment to whatever it is you want inyour life and of your commitment to yourself as a receiver of positiveenergy.

Energy is only neutral in certain forms. Energy is neutral when it comesinto your body as you call it forth. It changes form as it enters yourbody, depending on the inner condition of your inner world. But you canalso receive negative energy from feelings in regard to circumstances,from other individuals who do not have your best interests at heart, andyou can receive negative energy very easily if you are entertainingnegativity. It is one of the reasons that success breeds success. Moneybrings money, happiness often brings more happiness, because you areaccepting that energy fully into your life, so you are attracting more ofit.

When things are not going well, there is a great chance that you areaccepting negativity, because that is what appears to be around you. Itis the hardest task to begin to see yourself as a positive acceptor ofenergy, a receptacle of positivity, but it is the most critical when you areendeavoring to effect dramatic change. We have seen that sodramatically in our recent sojourns on your planet, the good and thestriking change that positivity can bring about are really unbelievable...and that is why we wanted to bring forth this additional understandingof light and energy.

Your physical body is so very important to you as a conductor of energy.Your unconscious is critical to what is happening in your life. Yourwillingness to pursue the highest good possible begins to alter yourenergy for the positive. Believe it or not, your unconscious understands



the concept of highest energy, highest good, for it relates to it aspositivity. In other words, the unconscious does not need a picture toproduce a desired effect, such as positivity. So highest good, which doesnot come in an outlined form, connects very strongly with yourunconscious, but you must open the door and let the light shine on yourdeepest convictions about yourself.

Now, it is very important to understand that, when you are in transitionand change, enormous life changes may take a little longer, so it is notever to be punitive to one another or to yourself because a givenmanifestation has not taken place. Rather, it is an opportunity to gowithin the self and begin to use light and energy in conjunction with theunconscious, and that is done in the two steps we have outlined: Byvisualizing your personal color and by no longer accepting yourself as avehicle for negative energy in any respect.

Under no circumstances are you willing to accept yourself as a vehiclefor negative energy. As the conviction within you grows and thisbecomes an aspect of your heart, the unconscious receives that messagewith great impartiality, free will acts upon it and the positive energythat is sent to the Universe attracts your highest good. It is really verysimple, but it requires an effort and a willingness not to be punitive,because that, again, sets up negative energy. To do this in the mostloving way possible, to be gracious to yourself and to let yourunconscious and free will become magnetizers for the enormous goodthat surrounds each one of you, is a tremendous step forward in yourlives.

Another important thing to understand... when we say that 'goodsurrounds you,' when things are not happening in your life as you wantthem to, it may feel that the good can't get to you... and that isabsolutely the truth. Good can surround you, but if you are setting up anegative energy field, you will find that it may only seep into your life inlittle dribs and drabs.

The good is there, but, if free will and the unconscious are sendingnegative images, then you are, in fact, creating a wall that obstructsyour good. The important thing is to do everything you can to supportyourself through difficult times, to make yourself as comfortable aspossible on every level, to be gracious to yourself on every level and touse whatever human tools are available to support you as you learn touse energy as an attractor for positivity in your life.



So, we would certainly say that subliminal tapes are beneficial, we wouldcertainly say that meditation is helpful, but what basically must happenis that you must make the fundamental shift in your life to alter energyand its use from your heart. As you do this, you will find that what hasbeen hidden from you becomes very apparent and that, automatically,many things surface that have been right in front of your nose. Becauseof the effective wall that negativity creates, you may know that thesethings are there, but they simply have not been allowed to enter.

Use your energy for good in your life. Use your energy for peace. Useyour energy to heal yourself of all conditions that are unsatisfactory...and do so lovingly, but with conviction, purpose and intent. To notaccept yourself as a vehicle for negativity, forgive yourself for anynegativity you have allowed in your life. Forgive yourself for anynegative circumstances that have come about that have displeased you.Send yourself pink light, forgive yourself with conviction and allow thatavenue, that space that forgiveness creates, to fill with positive energy.

And, as you forgive yourself, open your heart to the acceptance ofyourself as a receiver of positive energy. Open your heart to acceptingyourself as a beacon of light in the world, and, more than that, openyour heart to accepting yourself as a good and worthy person. This isvery basic, but it helps create for the unconscious the images that youwant to send out of self worth, positivity and spirituality.

You have been told throughout this major workshop that has recentlybeen presented by The Buddha Consciousness, ways to lift yourselfentirely above the techniques we have discussed here. And, as youprogress, you will become more adroit at using those light and energyprinciples, and find that the road to mastership really is not so difficult.Our purpose is to present simple concepts that will benefit youimmediately and allow you to move forward quickly.

The concepts as advanced as The Buddha Consciousness presentsrequires a great deal of effort and they are most worthwhile. But, tolearn to adjust the energy behind the scenes of a situation as you see itarising, takes an enormous step toward objectivity and it also takes anextensive opening forth of intuition and a willingness to let God directyou.

In the meantime, it is important not to let a negative unconscious directyou. And so, we counsel you to take a firm stand with yourself; do notallow the physical body to be a receptor of negativity, intelligently usethe tools at your disposal, and let light and energy be a great blessing in



your life. For, as you connect with light and energy, you are connectingwith the stream and continuity of eternity that you really are.

When you are imparting messages to the unconscious that are negative,you are participating in limitation, without even wanting to. Liftinglimitation has a great deal to do with opening those unconscious doorsabout yourself. For what is a negative concept but limitation itself?There is no limitation, it is simply a self-imposed concept!

If you judge yourself by the yardstick of the world, you will experiencelimitation. So, you must begin to free your entire concept of yourselffrom the yardstick of the world, and we would say this is the greatestreason that any one of you would see yourself negatively. For you arejudging your growth, your standards, your conduct by human ideals, notby what you have done for yourself, not by what you have learned aboutyourself, but by what others have imposed upon you.

It is so important to understand that others impose the yardstick of theworld upon you for their own self-gratification. Begin to gratify yourself,begin to acknowledge yourself, begin to nurture yourself on the verydeepest levels, and you will be truly amazed at what comes about. Donot judge yourself by the world's yardstick, for, surely, the negativityyou have striven to eliminate in your life should indicate to you thatyour inner changes are beyond the world's yardstick.

As you suspend all of your judgments and comparisons, as you decreaseyour reliance upon the world's yardstick, you will see yourself as youtruly are. For there is not one of you here who has not totally changed,but you must see it and you must be willing to let those positiveelements become alive for you in your heart. Consequently, through thatemotion, that belief and that conviction, impress themselves upon yourunconscious and, subsequently, allow free will to act in concert withpositivity, instead of in concert with negativity. This is a great 'accessor'to understand and we hope you will take advantage of it.

In the meantime, do not give up using your skillful tools to alter theenergy behind the scenes. Begin by using this in small ways, altering theenergy behind the scenes. If you are trying to do this for somethingmajor, you will be frustrated. Have fun with it. Begin to realize that youreally can alter the course of your lives, but you must be totallyaccepting yourself as a receptor of positivity, so that, when energy flowsthrough your physical body, indeed, it absorbs and attracts positivitywhich, in turn, returns to the Universe and reflects itself in your life aspositive manifestations.



We feel that each of you will find that what is to come in your individuallives will be most striking, particularly if you speak your word forpositivity, if you allow yourself to be a living blessing, a positiveexpression of energy. And, if you will open up your heart to the innerbeauty that is you, the years ahead for you in this incarnation can onlybe a magnificent and continuous experience of God's love in your life.

You are always loved, always and unconditionally. But, it is difficult toexperience that love if you are accepting negativity and if you aresending a negative picture to the Universe. For, what has often beenmisconstrued is that you are unloved by God. Nothing could be furtherfrom the truth. When you are experiencing that you are unloved by God,it is essential to ask yourself if you have forgotten to love yourself. Doso generously, do so graciously and let energy become a living tool inyour life. Ignorance of energy and cause and effect does not mean that itdoes not continue. Cause and effect is always in motion.

So, you must become an intelligent user of all of the faculties that youhave, of all of the elements at your disposal. You must become anexpression of positivity in your life, if you wish to experience all thatyou deserve. As those elements come into your life, peace and harmonyoften follow on the heals of positivity. For, with positivity from theheart, comes well-being. And, as this well-being is expressed, the door toyour connection with God begins to open. For, in well-being there is joy,and in joy there is the experience of God in your life.

Take these steps in using energy. Do so with purpose and conviction andlet that bring you what you have worked for so long now, the positiveexpression of good in your life.

We hope we have been helpful to you. We are very grateful and blessedto have had an opportunity to share our changes with each and everyone of you. We have known many of you for a very long time and havewatched your progress. We have seen our vehicle accept one of the mostpowerful energies on the planet for good. We have seen all of you moveinto great positivity. We have seen you work, we have seen you pray forpeace, we have seen you struggle. We are truly appreciative to share thisevening with you in an effort to bring you into greater harmony, and wewant to say that all of you are just around the corner from magnificencein your lives, for you have taken the time to bring those changes forth.

You have allowed, through your participation, a wonderful message tothe world to be brought forth. Your energies have uplifted us. Your



efforts have gratified us and, in turn, we hope that we have uplifted youand given you a measure of understanding and peace that did not existbefore our presence in your lives.

We will return again, for our last session. But for those of you who haveother things to do, we wish to bid you a very, very loving farewell as wetake leave of you in this energy and return to offer the world throughintuition, creativity and some surprising doors, valuable information inregard to the upliftment of mankind and the progress of mankind intothe new millennium.

We love you all and we offer you our most gracious blessings and peace.
