Units Fictional History

Coming from planet Antares, Antares Scorpions Mercenary Corp was founded as a means of acquiring additional resoruces for planets survival and development in those dark and turbulent times of constant wars between Houses. (aluding that our Merc Corp has long period of years behind it is let say 400 too much?)

To honour brave Mechwarriors who are protecting small planet people in made a vow to let their firstborn children go and join, if deemed worthy, this veteran corp.

Our unit gets a steady flow of new recruits from our home planet. As a result, the Anates Scorpions have existed unbroken since they were first created. But we are also open to people of exeptionall skills with whom we cooperated and who we asked to join or who helped us pull some contract out and got honorary place in unit shoulder to shoulder with other pilots (this covers up part that some of us have mixed allegiance aka Davion/Kurita/Marik etc).

consequence of this method is that the we can be considered a brotherhood of warriors and are proud to train the recruits according to our own exacting standards. (which we already do IRL so to say with our recruit training programs/brawling n such)

During Clan Invasion Scorpions were away on a secret mission somewhere in Tortuga Dominions recovering some secret mech plans, that were stolen, for House Steiner. Having managed to obtain the plans they retreated but due to heavy damage their ship ( jumpship /dropship ?) they made a short stop on planet Ban na San deep in Draconis teritory but managed to keep their secrecy and return to Tharkad. (needs revision also)
