Last Thoughts

I have applied and expect to be admit-ted to the first cohort for Westernsbrand new Educational Doctorate. I

think that this is the natural progres-sion for me in our department. In factwhen I say natural I hope it is clearthat my unit productivity has sprunginevitably out of the very rich groundwithin our department and has beenfertilized (as a respectful organicgardener and farmer, dare I say ma-nured?) by the minds within it. I thinkthat our group productivity has truly

lifted my personal productivity. I be-lieve that the reverse is true as welland that this beneficial symbiosis willmark our relationship for years tocome.
