Are you fit or not? The students will compete with other schools in the county to see which one does the best on the presidential fitness test as a whole. The students will complete the 5 activities and an average will be scored in each for each school. A newsletter will be made by the students explaining what the activities are, what it takes to complete, and how their respective school did.

Purpose of the assessment

To gather students prior abilities on the tests and what they want to learn about fitness

What I want to learn from the students?

How well they perform the skills asked of them to perform

How I tried to promote higher-order thinking?

Asked the students to use mathematics to analyze the data of the tests and draw conclusions about fitness

How the assessment information helps me and my students plan for upcoming activities in the unit?

If students are not making the right times we will practice and work to meeting the times needed to meet the criteria of the test

What feedback or additional ideas I’d like?

How to introduce more 21st century ideas and need more higher-order thinking
