Class Arrangement

• The course is divided into 3 parts, each of which culminates with a major speech assignment:

• Introductory unit: week 1-6

• Informative unit: week 7-11

• Persuasive unit: week 12-16

The written form of these speeches will be handed in as a part of your final grade.

Students Responsibilities

1. Arrive on time for class. If you arrive late during a speech, do not enter the classroom until the end of the speech.

2. Listen attentively to the speeches from your classmates. Show them the courtesy and attention you expected from them when you speak.

3. Turn in speech outlines and other written works on time.

4. Being in class without fail when you are assigned to speak.
