• For your writing assignment, you will choose which country you will be a citizen from, either CUBA or MEXICO. You will write 2-3 paragraphs about your government systems in that country, as well as, your freedoms as a citizen in that country. ALSO, be able to discuss how your country’s government is different from other Latin American countries.

Question to Keep in Mind:

• What type of government system do they have?

• How is political power distributed? (Federal, Unitary, or Confederation)

• What rights as citizens do you have? Can you vote?

• Vocabulary words that describe your country’s political system.
