DEFINITION OF DIGITAL SOFTWARE.

• Digital text or e-text,(E from electronic)is a general term for any document that is read in digital form. To access a digital text you need an analogue device like a smartphone, tablet, computer or laptop.

DIGITAL TEXTS• E-newspapers are better than newspapers because you can pay £9

per week to read the newspaper online , and you can click on one image and see the whole article . E-newspapers are better because they are stocked online and you can save the space in your home.

• E-posters are better than posters because you can change the poster whenever you want with just one click ,and you save money.

• E-magazines are better because you can subscribe to a online magazine and you can see all the magazines you want and you don’t have to waste time to go to buy magazines ,and you can save space in your home.

ANALOGUE• Analog is a physical

object that you can feel and touch , like smartphones , computers and videogames console . With analogue hardware you can access digital software.

DIGITAL SOFTWARE• Digital software is a virtual thing that you can see it but you can’t

touch it. You can access it with a analogue device like smartphone or tablet . Sometimes you need money to access digital software like e-book, e-magazines, e-newspapers and video games.

• The most used type of digital software is social media , like Facebook , Instagram and Snapchat.

them with just one click , and you can’t bend them and rip it off. You can’t collect the digital comics ,but you can save them into analogue hardware.

• E-brochure are better than the original ones because if you have to use googles ,you can just zoom in and see ,and if the brochure is too old it will automatically update to the new one.

you can read e-books , e-magazines and e-newspapers.• Computers like: Apple IMac , Asus X555 . You can read e-brochures , e-

digital instruction manuals.• E-reader like : Amazon Kindle , ECTACO jestbook mini . You can read e-

books and digital comics.

• You can stock them into virtual memory and you don’t have to keep them in the house

Disadvantages of digital texts

• You need internet connection.• It can ran out of battery.• You have to pay a lot of money to

buy these devices and to access digital texts.• Your device can run out of memory.
