1. before dinner 饭前 before prep. ＆ conj. 在……之前 adv. 以前 before + 时间点 I’ll be free before 7 o’clock tomorrow.

2. “Don’t leave the dirty dishes in the kit

chen!”

别把脏碗留在厨房里！ leave 作为动词，这里的意思是“留下；

剩下”。 Please leave the book on your desk.

请把书留在你们的课桌上。

3. After dinner, I can’t relax either.

晚饭后我也不能放松。 either adv. “ 也”，用于否定句句末，可

用逗号与语句的主题隔开。例如： My father can’t speak English. My mothe

r can’t (speak it), either.

also ， too 和 either 辨析also 是较正式的用语，语气较庄重。它通

常放在句中，位于行为动词之前，连系动词之后；如有助动词或情态动词，一般放在助动词或情态动词之后。例如 :

Peter also has two brothers.

I am also a student.

Mrs. Green can also sing the song in Chinese.

too 是普通用词，多用于口语，语气较随便。一般用在肯定句中，放在句末。

I'm in Row 1, too. 注意： also 和 too 一般都用于肯定句。 either 表示“也”时，一般只用于否定句，

且置于句末。I don't know him. Tom doesn't know him, e

用 too ， also 或 either 填空。I don’t like banana. He doesn’t like banana, ______.
