As you can see your feelings change, living things

change physically – you can see the changes but they

take time!

For example: day and night. Can you mention others

things that change?

Activity: Sing this song aloud in the class and answer the

questions:

Little brown seeds so small and

Summary of changes in humans overtime A human grows from a baby to a child to an adolescent to

an adult. When a baby grows, changes happen in shape, size

and color.

When you become an adult you have your own family which

you look after. Also you look after your parents who will be

old.

Activity: Answer the questions orally in the class

1) Does anyone here have a baby brother or sister?

2) Do babies or little children grow quickly or slowly?

3) What kinds of things cause babies and little kids to grow

quickly?

4) What are the healthy foods we eat to grow quickly?

5) Your teacher will make a Venn diagram on the board and explain

how to you use it. Copy it on your paper, then compare and contrast

between and baby and an adult concerning, movement, feed,

appearance, walking etc..

Activity: Projects in groups –PAINTING!

Sun Art

Paint a paper plate yellow. When dry,

add facial features with a marker. You

may even glue yellow strips of paper

around the edges for rays, or use yellow

string!

Moon Art

Cut a paper plate in any shape for the

moon. You can have them paint the moon a

very light blue or gray.

Night Art

Draw a picture on black paper

With chalk or white crayons.
