Combine like terms
1.) 7(9x – 6) – 2 = 63x – 42 – 2 = 63x – 44
2.) 18 + 2(4x – 5) = 18 + 8x – 10 = 8x + 8

5.) -8(x+2) + 2(x–1) = -8x – 16 + 2x – 2
= -6x – 18
4.) –(x–3) + 2(x–7) = -x + 3 + 2x – 14
= x – 11
3.) -2(3x+4) – 2x – 5 = -6x – 8 – 2x – 5
= -8x – 13
