1.1Why did you use a computer? What other systems / resources could you have used?

I used a computer because it makes it more interesting to read And because a computer can correct any mistakes involved during thePresentation and correct them. As well as the grammar and spelling being corrected.Transitions and effects can be added as it would be boring without a computer and have a dull appearance. I could have used: flip chart, type writer, written presentation, leaflet, poster but I didn’t use these as they are old methods and they are more practical than using PowerPoint.

1.2What resources did you need to make the presentation successful?

To make the presentation successful you need to include: Hyperlinks, animations, backgrounds, transitions, pictures, informative information, navigation bar, slide show timings, sound effects, and effects of colours, text amounts, text sizes and fonts, text colours, order of the slides, charts with figures in tables, correct spelling, and slide master. These tools made my presentation successful because they made my presentation look professional and made it interesting for children to read it.

1.4What factors might have affected how well you completed the presentation? (e.g. time / attendance / knowledge of software)

The factors that might affect the work rate of the presentation are: Internet explorer unavailable, Too much bad behaviour, not paying much attention, Don't know the software as much as you think, the mouse and keyboard was not working properly, Computers was not working, White Ethernet cable was not connected preventing you from logging on, not being in, not on time to lesson, the power buttons not on, computer overheating because the fan inside the hard drive is broken.

1.6Why did you use PowerPoint to make your presentation? What other software was available? Why did you choose not to use them?

I used PowerPoint because it makes the presentation more interesting to read and it gives you more applications to use such as transitions, hyperlinks, etc. The other software available was not suitable for a presentation, for example word is not suitable for a presentation because it does not have the tools that PowerPoint does and it doesn't have as many applications as PowerPoint and the application used on the programme is for letters, speeches, and other programme applications.

2.2Which tools within PowerPoint made it appropriate for your presentation?

The tools that made it appropriate for my PowerPoint were: Text boxes, Inserting hyperlinks to the school website, Inserting images, Transitions and animations, Suitable backgrounds helped me to create the main presentation without the other tools that I used for effects, as well as exporting and importing images without any legal constraints. Also the text position and align helped to get the right position for the other elements to be contained in the presentation. Inserting hyperlinks to each slide also helps with the presentation because it enables the presentation to get to the page without skipping through the other slides

1.7Were there any legal constraints or local constraints that changed the way you created your presentation? (e.g. copyright, file sizes)

File sizes can affect the rate at which the file loads and can affect the file size. Also copyright of any websites were checked before any information or imagesWere put on to my presentation. If the image was constrained, I would have to get permission for the image I need to use, so it wouldn’t be copyright and I wouldn't be prosecuted or charged of copyright. Memory sticks can also be a problem because the stick may have a corrupt file which could trigger a virus or worm.

2.4What improvements do you think you could do to your presentation?

The improvements that I think I could present to improve my presentation could be: to change the colours used and add different images that do not constraint any legal or copyright proceedings. Also to improve my presentation, I could change the way in which the layout is set and change the text and the text size. I could also change the text colour to make it more appealing. I could change the background colours and layout as this will improve the way in which the presentation looks and is presented to the audience at hand.

3.2What improvements do you think you could have done to improve your work rate?

To improve my work rate of completion of the unit, I could have made sure all wires linked to the computer were connected properly, as well as checking the Ethernet cable for internet usage. Also I could have been in lesson in time, so more work is produced productively. Also I could have typed the text quicker, so this enables me to get more of the presentation done before the dead line. I could have made sure that the computer is in working order and doesn’t have any faults with the programmes. I could have saved links in the favourites, which in turn could have saved typing the information sites. I could have saved the presentation in a suitable location which it would be easy to access and didn’t take too long to load and find the presentation.
