How UnionPay cards are accepted in the US
UnionPay Credit Cards are processed through Discover network and
Elavon network.
UnionPay Debit Cards are processed through the Pulse (Discover’s PIN
Debit Network) or Elavon network to accept UnionPay debit cards (PIN-
Debit).

How to accept UnionPay cards
1. To accept UnionPay Credit Cards:
If the merchant already accepts Discover cards, it should be
able to accept UnionPay credit cards too. Consult with your
Merchant Service Provider to confirm whether your store
accepts Discover cards and UnionPay credit cards.
2. To accept UnionPay Debit Cards:
If the merchant has PIN-pad and accepts PIN-debit cards, it
should be able to accept UnionPay debit cards. If not, consult
with your Merchant Service Provider for further necessary
support.

UnionPay strongly recommends to place UnionPay signage at
your store front, and/or register counter to welcome customers
