• He has never stopped Speaking.• He is speaking LOUDLY throughout the Earth.• He speaks to all of us, not only the Prophets of God.

Holy Spirit speaks to us through the following:• GOD CAN USE ANYTHING AND ANYONE TO SPEAK TO YOU!• Written Word of God

• The LOGOS (Matthew 6:11 ..Give us this day our daily bread)

• Prophecy

• Rhema (Living) Word of God (John 6:63) • Spontaneous and Revelatory

• Angels (Luke 1:19 and numerous sriptures)• Examples: Mary, Daniel, Jacob, Abraham

• Dreams (Matthew 1:20 and many others)

• Open Visions (Pour our Spirit on all Flesh…Acts 2:17; Isaiah, John)

• A still small voice (Elijah, 1 Kings 19:12)

• Audibly (Gen 3:8, Exodus 3:4-6, Acts 9:3-7)

• Signs and Wonders (Deut 13:1)

• God speaking his plans and purposes into the Earth.• Reveals the heart and character of God• Prophecy is given for (1 Cor 14:3) Edification, Exhortation and Comfort• The Prophetic Voice is a voice who perceives, hears and or sees, and speaks Gods plans and

purposes into the earth.

• A Prophetic Voice can be:• The Holy Spirit• Angels• A Lay Member of the Church (Individual Servant used by God)• A Prophet of God• A Church Leader• A person in the world who perceives what the Lord’s will is for a matter (Spirit of Prophecy)• Natural Elements• Animal Kingdom

• Religion (false doctrine)• World System (Social Media, TV, Movies, Culture, Friends, Family, Church)• What are you watching?• What are you participating in? (Halloween, Others…)

The Office of the Prophet One of the Five-Fold Ministry Offices


Governmental Position• The Office of the Prophets is

not a Gift, but a Kingdom Governmental Position

• Prophets are accountable to Apostles and Leadership of the Church

• Prophets work with other Five-Fold Ministers to accomplish and equip the saints of God (1 Eph4:11-13)

• Prophets are consecrated and set apart and operate as church leadership to instruct, bring forth unity, fulfill the will and love of God and intercede on behave of the church.

Operations• Can operate in Signs and

Wonders (ex. Elijah)• Prophets continually

commune with the Holy Spirit

• Decree / Declarations to prepare the way for Kingdom Movements and Declare the Moves of GOD.

• Prophets will Edify, Exhort and Comfort the body of Christ.

• We hear the mysteries of God. We execute and steward them.

• Intercession for the Body

Authority• Prophets Expose the Strategy

of the Enemy and pull-down strongholds.

• Prophets are anointed to come against the GATES of HELL

• Sound the Alarm• A Mature Prophet turns and

/or directs the people back to God by establishing a clear plumb line in Scripture.

• God endorses and releases His Prophets to release words of correction and rebuke – words that uproot and tear down.

The Character of a True Prophet• Prophets of God are consecrated before God (He Trusts Them!)

• Prophets Love God and His Word. They have and operate in his character and will.

• True Prophets have been trained by the Holy Spirit, and other Anointed Prophets and have received continuous wilderness training.

• Prophets desire holiness and repentance.

• Prophets desire to keep the Commandments of God

• Prophets do not seek fame and fortune.

• Healthy Prophets are always connected to Fathering Apostles and Teachers.

• Prophets can and do make mistakes but are always willing to repent and seek God for right understanding and righteousness. (We can have off days in our flesh).

• Prophets are accountable and take full responsibility for their communicated Prophecy.

• Prophets teach Prophetic Protocol and bring order.


Prophets Explained • Nabi (Naw-Bee) means Prophet – 2 Peter 1:20-21

• Receiver and a speaker of the Oracles of God• Bubble Up – Stirred in the Spirit and flow words abundantly• An Announcer- one who brings forth the declarations of God.

• Roeh (Ro’eh) Prophets (revealer of secrets)• Example: Prophet Daniel 7-10, Prophet Balaam, Numbers 23• To Shepherd /Instruct • To See or Perceive • Perceive and understand, are advised by the Holy Spirit

Revelatory Gifts – 1 Corinthians 12: 1-11

• Word of Wisdom• (1 Cor 12:8) Is the Holy Spirit speaking future predictive insight with words of

wisdom from the mind of Christ given to instruct, reconcile, rebuke, set free, restore, etc.

• Word of Knowledge• (1 Cor 12:8) Is a supernatural insight regarding facts from the mind of Christ given to

see or perceive a person’s Past or Present.

• Discerning of Spirits• (1 Cor 12:10) Is supernatural insight to perceive and understand a man or

women’s heart and intentions, and to see, hear or know the workings of satan, demonic and the Kingdom of God.


A True Prophetic Word

• Aligns with the Word of God and does not contradict.• A Prophetic Word sets in Order and brings balance.• God usually tells you first, before someone Prophesy’s to you.• Remember, Prophecy Edifies, Exhorts and Comforts.

• If God gives a rebuke, he always follows with his reconciliation/restoration plan for your life. He loves you and does not want to hurt you.

• God will use a Prophetic Word with Revelatory Gifts to bring forth:• Deliverance• Correction• Healing• Insight (intuitive understanding) into a past or current matter/circumstance • Foresight (future plans and instruction to overcome, set in order, enlighten and bring

forth encouragement)


Prophetic Pitfalls

Prophecy Pitfalls are NOT Holy Spirit led:• Emotions (your own emotions for the other person)

• Profiling Others (the way they dress, their culture)

• Fear (Fear of Man, Fear of Rejection)

• Circumstances (allowing circumstance to dictate the word spoken)

• Locations (allowing locations to dictate the word spoken)

• Witchcraft (Spirits of Divination, Manipulation and Control; Money Lines)


Testing and Judging Prophecy and False Prophets• All prophecy must be tested and judged. (1 Cor 14:29)

• Prophecy should never be misleading and or unbiblical.

• Allowing Bad Prophecy to go unchecked is against biblical teaching, reference 1 Thess 5:19-21

• Prophets can miss the mark occasionally.

• Does not mean they are FALSE or not Anointed by God.

• Real False Prophets (Deut 13:1-3)• Have Character Issues• Are typically loners and go against leadership• Do not follow correct order in the Church Service• Operate from their soul realm• Hear and perceive Familiar or Divination Spirits (other other demonic forces) and not the Holy

Spirit• Entice or seduce you to serve other Gods (idolatrous /worldly ways)• Manipulation through false signs and wonders
