Students who can demonstrate financial hardship and have contributed to their local community.

All undergraduate degrees $4,000 per annum for up to three years

Alumni Annual Appeal Regional Scholarship

Regional students who can demonstrate financial hardship and have contributed to their local community.

All undergraduate degrees $4,000 per annum for up to three years

Chris Lewis Scholarship Indigenous Australian students who have demonstrated a commitment to the Indigenous community and can demonstrate academic potential.

All undergraduate degrees $5,000 per annum

Curtin Excellence Scholarship

Students who have achieved a minimum ATAR of 96 and have selected Curtin University as their first preference. All students who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically awarded. Students who achieve an ATAR between 96-96.99 will receive the scholarship for up to one year and students who achieve an ATAR of 97+ will receive the scholarship for up to three years. (No application form required)

✓ $5,000 per annum (duration based on ATAR)

Curtin Humanitarian Fund Scholarship

Students from a refugee-like background who can demonstrate financial hardship.

All undergraduate degrees Variable award values for cash payments and/or tuition fee discount

Curtin Indigenous Partnerships Recommendation Award

Our partner programs (Future Footprints, Follow the Dream and AIME) can nominate up to five Indigenous Australian students based on a number of criteria.

All undergraduate degrees $2,000 for up to one year

Curtin STAR Scholarship Students who can demonstrate financial hardship. All undergraduate degrees $1,000 - $3,000 per annum

Edmund Rice Emerging Leaders Scholarship

Students from refugee-like backgrounds aspiring to a career in politics.

All Undergraduate degrees Up to $15,000 over three years

Harry Perkins Memorial Scholarship

Students relocating from a regional or remote area who can demonstrate financial hardship.

All undergraduate degrees $4,000 per annum

Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships

Indigenous Australia students who are experiencing financial hardship, including students from regional and remote areas.

All undergraduate degrees Up to $6,000 per annum

John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship

High school principals or an appropriate educator can nominate academically talented students within the top five per cent of their high school year who demonstrate qualities of vision and leadership, and have provided service to their community.

All undergraduate degrees ✓ Student fees, $2,000 per annum and $6,000 one-off payment towards a study abroad experience

Julia Gillard Women in Leadership Scholarship

Principal’s Recommendation Award

West Australian high school principals cannominate up to two year 12 students from theirschool based on a number of criteria.

All undergraduate degrees $1,000 one-off payment

Scholarship for High Achievement and Performance Engagement (SHAPE)

Students who have participated in Curtin Achievement Centred Engagement (ACES) programs (e.g. AHEAD, Innovative Schools Consortium, other ACES endorsed programs).

All undergraduate degrees $3,000 one-off payment

Business and Law Top Excellence Scholarship

Student(s) who have placed Curtin University as their first preference and have received the top ATAR within the faculty of Business and Law. All students who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically awarded this scholarship. (No application form required)

All Business and Law undergraduate degrees

✓ $6,000 per annum

Business Innovation Scholarship

Students who wish to undertake a degree in Business Information Systems or Business Information Technology.

Business Information Systems or Business Information Technology

$3,000 per annum towards course fees

Property Education Foundation Scholarship

Students who wish to undertake an eligible course majoring in property studies.

Bachelor of Commerce (Property Development and Valuation), (Property and Marketing) or (Property and Finance), or Bachelor of Arts (Urban and Regional Planning)

Charles Watson Top Excellence Scholarship

Student(s) who have selected an eligible course at Curtin University as their first preference and have received the top ATAR within the faculty of Health Sciences. All students who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically awarded this scholarship. (No application form required)

Pharmacy students relocating from a regional or remote area who can demonstrate financial hardship.

Michael Jones Memorial Scholarship

Students who have attended a Kalgoorlie-Boulder local high school.

All degrees within the WA School of Mines: Minerals, Energy and Chemical Engineering

Women in Engineering Top Excellence Scholarship

Female student(s) who have placed Curtin University as their first preference and have received the top ATAR within engineering. All female students who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically awarded this scholarship. (No application form required)

How to apply• The scholarship application process is online via the

scholarships website

• We encourage you to apply for all scholarships you meet the criteria for

• Students who place an eligible Curtin course as their first preference through TISC and receive an ATAR of 96 or above will automatically be considered for the Curtin Excellence Scholarship

Scholarship Offers• Scholarship offers are made after course offers

• All successful and unsuccessful applications will be notified of the outcome of their application

• Offers will be sent to successful applicants by email along with Terms and Conditions to sign. All scholarship offers are conditional upon successful recipients meeting the scholarship eligibility requirements.

John Curtin Scholarship Program Close: 23 September 2020

Principal’s Recommendation Award Close: 6 November 2020

All other scholarships Close: 13 November 2020

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CURRENT STUDENTSThere are also a range of scholarships available for current Curtin University students. These scholarships open in October 2020 and close in March 2021. If you do not receive a scholarship as a commencing student, you may be eligible to apply for a scholarship as a current student as soon as you have a Curtin student number.
