Enrollment Steps for Students
1) Fill-out the first page
a) Parent/Guardian signature (some exceptions)
2) Acquire a withdrawal form or letter from last school (some exceptions)
3) Present photo ID confirming age

GED® Testing Approval Steps Attend class for at least 40 hours
Score at least 9.0 on the D or A level TABE in Reading, Math, and Language
Schedule a time with his/her teacher to create a profile on MyGED™ at www.ged.com
Underage Youth Application
Take the GED Ready™ practice test and score at least a 155 on two of the four subtests
Agree to maintain enrollment until they successfully complete GED® testing
GED® Testing
Teacher recommends the student and program administrator gives final approval
Program submits Request for GED Testing Approval to Georgia GED Testing Program
Approval takes about 2 business days and the student will be notified by email
