FROM THE SEARCH COMMITTEE The search committee appreciates the prayers and support from the congregation. We are still receiving resumes, but have narrowed down the list of current candidates and are receiving additional information from them.
KIDZONE WORSHIP (PRE-K THROUGH 4TH GRADE)

CELEBRATION55+ DINNER
Our next Celebration Dinner is Tuesday, November 13 (2nd Tuesday) at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $3.00 + a covered dish. Entertainment will be the St. Louis Ukulele Group. The December dinner is Tuesday, December 11 (2nd Tuesday) at 6:30 p.m. and is a catered meal. Tickets are $13.00 and will be available to purchase at the Welcome Center or the church office beginning Sunday, November 18.
AWANA GRAND PRIX The Don Anthony Memorial Grand Prix is this Friday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and watch the clubbers race their cars and vie for trophies. After the official race, there will be an Open Class for all those not in T&T. It’s just for fun and any car goes as
long as it fits on the track! ALL cars must be dropped off this Wednesday for final weigh-in and design judging.

GIVING TREE PROJECT Beginning Sunday, November 25, our tall atrium Christmas tree will be joyfully adorned with donated
hats, gloves, and mittens in every size and color! Bring your cutest pair for the tree and they will warm grateful heads, hearts, and hands. Look for the collection bin in the foyer.
BENEVOLENCE FUND OFFERING
Next Sunday, November 18, we observe the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper. Please consider giving to the offering for the benevolence fund that will be taken after the service as you leave the Worship Center. This fund is used to meet the many needs within our church family and our community as directed by the Benevolence Committee.
Plan now to attend Parkway’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 18 at 5:00 p.m. This is a great time of fellowship with turkey and all the trimmings! Prices: $10.00 (ages 12 & up); $5.00 (ages 5-11); Free (ages 4 and under); Household cap: $40.00. This is the last Sunday to purchase your tickets at the Welcome Center or online at parkwaybaptist.net.
BORN TO BE BRAVE TOUR November 11, 6:30 p.m., Parkway Baptist Church
Tonight is the big event. A one-night Father-Son Adventure. This event is geared to all boys ages 7-17 and their dads or dad figures. Use the discount code 'BRAVE' and it will give a $4 discount off each General Admission ticket. You may also purchase your ticket at the door.
CHRISTMAS ANGEL MISSION We are participating in the Christmas Angel Mission, buying gifts for children of prisoners and others in need. Select an angel from the display on the table in the foyer and purchase a gift for that age child in the amount of $25. Wrap the gift, taping the paper angel to the top of the package and bring your gift to the church by December 2.
