UNABLE TO INSTALL ECTRADE

OR

Solution:

Kindly disable all pop-up blockers from Internet Explorer, MSN toolbar, Yahoo toolbar or

Google toolbar (if any)

Please ensure that you are logging into Windows as ADMINISTRATOR. You may check under

Control Panel >> User Accounts

Steps:

1. Run as administrator (Windows 7) Please run IE (Internet Explorer) as administrator whenever you login to HLeBroking

Right click on IE, and then select “Run as administrator”

Windows 8 & Windows 10

a) Go to This-Pc >> Local Disc/ Windows OS (C:) >> Program Files (x86) >>

Internet Explorer >> iexplore.exe (right click “Run as Administrator”)

OR

a) Click on

b) Key in ”File Explorer” in the search box

c) Locate This-Pc >> Local Disc/ Windows OS (C:) >> Program Files (x86) >> Internet

Explorer >> iexplore.exe (right click “Run as Administrator”)

2. Clear Cache

a) Go to Tools >> Internet Options >> General Tab b) Click on Delete button c) Tick the first 3 boxes: Delete Files >> Delete Cookies >> Delete History

d) Click Delete and close once done

3. Add trusted sites

Add https://www.hlebroking.com to Trusted Sites.

a) Go to Tools >> Internet Options b) Select the second tab “Security” and click on “Trusted Sites” c) Click on “Sites” d) Add https://www.hlebroking.com under Trusted Sites e) Click “Add” f) The web address: https://www.hlebroking.com will appear under “Websites” g) Click “Close” and click “OK”

4. Turn off Pop-up Blocker

a) Uncheck/ untick the Turn on Pop-up Blocker > click OK

5. Reset Internet Explorer setting

a) Tools >> Internet Options >> Advanced >> click Reset (Please re-run the IE after

reset)

Then, click on “ecTrade” to re-download

For IE 9, 10 and 11: A “Yellow Bar” will be prompted at the bottom of the browser to

install cab file

Click on the information bar at the bottom, “This website wants to install software from:

‘Excel Force MSC Berhad’. Click ‘Install’… you need to wait for a while before they prompt

you again.

This message will be prompted 3 times. Please install all the cab files for complete installation.

Thereafter, you will be able to see HLeBroking introduction screen.

*The above sequences might be different based on computer setting.

For other web browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox and etc, please click on

as it will have similar features like the Internet Explorer.

Subsequently, you will view the screen layout as shown below for “Advanced Version”.
