* May eliminate the need to exchange central venous catheters in order to monitor ScvO2 continuously. The ScvO2 probe can be inserted into an existing 16 cm or 20 cm central line with a minimum distal lumen inner diameter of 0.032” (16 G) and a maximum length from the outside of the female luer on the distal lumen to the catheter tip of 35 cm.
