ULTRANET RELEASE 2
Learner Profile & Learning Tasks
BEFORE WE BEGIN:
Thanks for all the support to log in students.
Student password cards. Letters should be in your student files.
Parents will be logged on soon. Once students are using the spaces and there is something
for the parents to see when they log in.
Ultranet moving into daily classroom practise and curriculum planning.
Keep in mind that this is a snapshot of release 2.
Ongoing PDs will ensure everyone is confident using this area of the
Ultranet.

SO... SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS
EXPECTATION WHAT PD WILL SUPPORT THIS?
Staff will access the Ultranet to create dynamic reports of student achievements.
Ultranet learning task pd.
Conferencing pd.
All students and parents accessing the Ultranet.
Parent information evenings to assist with logging on and giving more detailed information
about how to use the Ultranet.
Students given instruction on how to use the Ultranet spaces through instruction and play
with their teachers.
Staff will access the Ultranet to visit the Staff Hub for communications, sharing PD, unit
minutes, work load planner etc
PD in first few weeks of school.
Unit leaders PD on using the space for unit communications.
Teams of teachers will utilise the Ultranet to plan curriculum and deliver learning to
students.
Ongoing PD throughout the year on spaces, applications, learning tasks.

WHAT ARE THE LEARNING TASKS.
LEARNING TASK ACTIVITYWe have created a journal that can be used for ‘Learning to Learn’. Students can do a journal on
what they would like to learn this year.
Go to Learning tasks. Go to CLASS PLANNING SPACE. Create a new folder called ‘Learning to Learn’ Now, have a go at importing the journal into your
new folder. The journal is called
‘What I want to learn this year...’
Have a go at allocating it to all your students! Once you work it out, help others to do the same.
LEARNING TASK ACTIVITY
The exact same process will be used for the conferencing journal once the templates
have been decided by units.

Get in and have a play in Learning Tasks.
Maybe in your PERSONAL PLANNING SPACE you could:
Set up some folders. Create a learning task.
