ULTRACEM SUPERCEMENT

ULTRACEM ® is a fast setting and drying Portlandcement with an extreme high early strength. The cement is used in dry-mixed mortars, and concrete where acceleration and quick re-installment is required . Contrary to other quick setting Portlandcement ULTRACEM ® is Fluor free and poses no threat to human or animal health. Chrome VI content is well below the set limit of 2 ppm. All known organic additives i.e. plasticizing- and air-entraining agent, retarder etc. used for Portlandcement can also be added. compressive strength 3 hours 10 Mpa 28 days 60 Mpa initial set 3 ~ 5 min. loss of ignition 5 % sulfate content 8 % chloride 0,1 % expansion 0,02 mm/m ULTRACEM ® is used as regular cement binder, and can be introduced in a cement matrix, mixed with different types and size of aggregate. Because of its fast setting and the possible interaction with other components pre-use testing is obligatory! A higher w/c ratio increases the porosity, leading to reduction in strength of hardened concrete and mortar. ULTRACEM ® is especially used at low ambient temperature concrete and mortar, and rapid repair work. ULTRACEM ® releases alkali and should be treated and handled as any other cement. All safety measures are applicable. Consult our Material Safety Data Sheet. ULTRACEM ® is delivered in bulk , big-bags 1,250 to. and small bags of 25 kg. on pallets. Stored dry the cement should be used within 3 months after production date - longer storage and high humidity may retard the setting and have an impact on the strength development.
