Furniture manufacturers the world over appreciate the reliability and superb quality of Intermat hinges. Ideal for a wealth of different applications, quickly and easily installed, simple to adjust, secure, attrac-tively designed and in a quality you can depend on, Intermat is truly impressive.

The Intermat range features hinges with opening angles of 110° and 125°, thick door hinges with a 95° opening angle, wide-angle hinges with an opening angle of 165°, special-purpose hinges for unu-sual face angles from W-45° to W+90° as well as hinges for glass doors and alu-minium-frame doors. Intermat hinges are available for all common drilling patterns and come with various ways of attaching the hinge cup.

Silent System for Intermat hinges gives a further mark of distinction to your furni-ture range.

Hettich standard for product materials

Hettich underpins its commitment by applying an internal standard for product materials. This ensures that every product – from pro-duction to disposal – satisfies all environmental requirements. Hettich products are durable. Appropriately foresighted, our rig-orous standards are formulated to ensure that international leg-islation is met as well. This provides a reliable basis for marketing furniture world-wide.

Hettich environmental management

In 1996 Hettich started introducing effective environmental man-agement systems under the stringent EMAS Regulation (currently: EC Regulation No. 761/2001, including EN ISO 14.001/2004). This not only enables us to improve our environmental performance on a broad front but also achieve a high level of safety which, not least, also benefits our customers. This is why we also require our suppliers to meet the necessary minimum standards of envi-ronmental protection, industrial safety, health care and social welfare.The results achieved in the drawer-runner and drawer-system product segment at the Kirchlengern operation illustrate the impressive effects these measures have and verifiably demon-strate our tireless endeavours to translate words into action:

Closing the gentle way: Silent System for Intermat hinges

Easy to clip on

The Silent System element simply clips onto the hinge arm, making it easy to install without the need for tools. Two versions are available: for standard mounting styles and alumini-um-frame doors or for the wide-angle Intermat 9956 hinge.

Elegance for the hinge cup

This particularly stylish Silent System element can be used for standarddoor-mounting styles. It screws onto the hinge cup to form a line with the hinge arm.

Screws on in seconds flat

This Silent System unit attaches to the top or bottom carcase panel with two wood screws without predrilled holes. This option is mainly used in conjunction with hinges for unusual face angles.

High user benefit:

Only one Silent System element is needed on a standard door with two hinges. Soft closing can be optimised to suit the size and weight of the doors at a setting wheel. The attractive cover cap for the hinge arm, also with customised logo, can always be fitted as Silent System never conceals all of the hinges.

Gentle closing: closing furnituredoors produce irritating noise in thehome. Intermat with Silent Systemcontrols the movement of furniture doors, leaving them to close quietly and gently. Peace and quiet are immediately restored, enhancing living comfort in any home si-tuation. And measurably benefiting every furniture user.

Selective application: whether provided as standard or as an optional extra, fitting Silent System is left for the furniture manufacturer to decide. Silent System is either installed during production or later on by the fitter when furniture is assem-bled on location.
