Day 2 : 2nd November - Delhi

Day 1 : 1st November – Arrive Delhi

New Delhi – Visit Humayun’s Tomb a mausoleum of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and be driven past the Presidential House, Parliament house, Government buildings and India Gate.

Late this afternoon you will be taken to Dilli Haat, a flea market for good bargains where artisans and

small industry owners sell products direct to the market. The Market also showcases ethnic Indian artwork

and traditional home based products. It looks like a small organised carnival.

Ladies can try their hand at Heena Tattoo’s which is ancient Indian art.

This evening at approximately 1900 hrs, you will be taken to local

Indian family’s house for an exclusive cooking demonstration and

interaction with the family followed by dinner.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Agra (approx. 0800 Hrs) by private vehicle (205kms/4-5hrs) en-route you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah. Arrive in Agra and check-in to the hotel.

Later this afternoon ladies will visit the official shop Kalakriti as they have one

floor exclusively for Textile, embroidery and Indian Sarees. Ladies can purchase

sarees on direct payment basis or other outfits for Taj Mahal pics tomorrow

morning.

You will also have the option of visiting a local market.

This evening we proceed to see a cultural theatre show (Mohabbat da Taj) that

Day 3 : 3rd November - Delhi to Agra

Early this morning we proceed to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise.

Return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit Agra fort.

Afternoon proceed by bus for Jaipur (235kms/5-6hrs) en route

visiting Fatehpur Sikri.

This evening we take you for dinner to exclusive venue located

inside Amer Fort the” 1135 AD restaurant”. Offering excellent

ambience and décor of Royal era.

Hotel: Taj Jai Mahal Palace or similar – Luxury Rooms (B/D)

After breakfast you will be driven just outside Jaipur to the ancient capital of Amber to visit the fabulous

17th century Amber Fort en-route having a stop to see the `Palace of Winds, otherwise known as Hawa

Mahal.

You will have an Elephant ride or otherwise a Jeep ride

to spare you the trouble of heading up to the fortress.

Day 4 : 4th November - Agra to Jaipur

Day 5 : 5th November - Jaipur

Later you will be taken on a textile tour visiting shops or Anokhi Museum to see hand printing (Monday

closed), also visit Jewellery / Ornaments outlet near Amer fort (see pic on your right).

In the afternoon proceed for a visit of the City Palace & Observatory (Jantar Mantar).

Return to your hotel after the sightseeing tour and the evening is free to spend at you leisure.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Mandawa (approx. 0900 Hrs) by private vehicle (approx.

170kms/3hrs).

Arrive and check-in to your hotel.

This evening you will have the opportunity for a village walk and interact with local ladies and people.

Mandawa – Mandawa founded in 1755 by

Thakur Nawal singh, and still the home of his

descendants, has beautiful frescoes, havelis

and mansions. Mandawa Castle houses a

collection of armories, ancestral costumes,

cannons from 1820, an ancient numismatic

collection of many other interesting items

preserved in a museum.

Mandawa is renowned for their frescoed mansions which were the traditional homes of India’s leading

business community.

Day 6 : 6th November - Jaipur to Mandawa

After breakfast you will be transferred to Bikaner (approx. 0900 Hrs) by private vehicle (approx.

200kms/4hrs).

Arrive and check-in to your hotel.

Bikaner - The main place of interest is the Junagarh Fort, founded by

Raja Rai Singh in 16th century, had palaces added to it over the next

three centuries. It is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a

line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. The various

palaces include the Chandra Mahal (Moon Palace) with mirror work,

carvings and marble decorations and the Phool Mahal (Flower Palace).

The royal chapel is Har Mandir, where royal weddings and births were

once celebrated.

This evening you will take a walk through the old market to see the local Rajasthani Bazzar; you may try

some local sweets or street food and buy some ladies products such as handmade bangles or anything

that interests you.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Jaisalmer (approx. 0900 Hrs) by private vehicle (approx.

330kms/5-6hrs).

Arrive and check-in to your hotel.

Jaisalmer - The city is inhabited within the Fort, built of

yellow sandstone. The Fort is famous for its intricately

carved facades of havelis, especially of the rich merchants

of the 18th & 19th century. Some of the havelis worth

visiting are Patwon ki haveli, Salim Singh ki haveli etc.

Within the Fort there are Jain temples dating back to 12th -

Day 7 : 7th November – Mandawa to Bikaner

Day 8 : 8th November - Bikaner to Jaisalmer

15th century which too are part of the tour as they are famous for their beautiful and intricate carvings.

This evening you will visit Khuri Village to see muddy houses and interact with local ladies in their

traditional costumes and then enjoy a camel cart ride in the sand dunes.

After, we enjoy high tea at the venue.

(you may also buy traditional costumes in the local market there are so many varieties of Choli / Lehenga

and range is from USD 20 to USD 1000 per set on direct payment, just an option)

After breakfast (start approx. 09h00) you will have a Jaisalmer city tour visiting Trikuta Fort (also known as Jaisalmer fort), Havelis, Jain temples, Garishar Lake Etc. During the sightseeing tour your group can visit a Goldsmith Colony (Sonaro ka Bass/ Kallu ki Haton).

Hotel: Suryagarh or similar – Palace Rooms (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred to Manvar (approx. 0900 Hrs) by private vehicle (approx. 180kms/3hrs). Arrive and check-in to your camp situated in desert. This evening we will have a jeep ride / camel ride in the desert followed by Rajasthani music dances/ camp fire followed by dinner.

Day 9 : 9th November - Jaisalmer

Day 10 – 10th November – Jaisalmer to Manvar

This Morning we have time for another camel ride / jeep ride in the desert.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Jodhpur (approx. 0900 Hrs) by private vehicle (approx.

120kms/2.5hrs) en-route visiting Osian Jain Temple [distance from Manvar to Osian is about 70-80 KM

and from Osian to Jodhpur is just 60 KM]

After arrival at Jodhpur; check-in at Hotel

This evening you will be taken to the Clock Tower and old city to visit the local and traditional market.

Hotel: Ajit Bhawan Palace or similar – Luxury Rooms (B)

After breakfast you will be taken on an excursion to Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most imposing forts in India and the Jaswant Thada, a 19th century royal cenotaph built in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Afternoon free to enjoy the day or visit local market. This evening enjoy dinner at Hanwant Mahal where you will have a magnificent view of Umaid Bhawan Palace and Mehrangarh Fort.

Day 11 : 11th November – Manvar to Jodhpur

Day 12 : 12th November - Jodhpur

After breakfast you will be transferred to Udaipur (approx. 09h00) by private vehicle (270kms/5-6hrs) en-route you will stop to visit the famous Jain Temples of Ranakpur, renowned for some marvellously carved Jain temples in marble. Lunch today is at Mana resort followed by a visit of a local village school. Later drive to Udaipur, arrive and check-in at the hotel.

Hotel: Taj Lake Palace – Luxury Rooms (B/L)

After breakfast you will be escorted on a half day tour of the city start with exclusive Boat ride, Jag Mandir

Palace, City Palace Museum & Sahelion-Ki-Bari.

Later this afternoon we go on a Heritage Walk in Udaipur, to feel the

pulse of the havelis and bazaars of the city and get the local flavor–

vegetable and spice market, Barra bazaar for gold and silver smiths,

mochiwada for cobblers.

Route: Jagdish chowk, Kansaron ki gali (coppersmiths lane), Clock

tower, Bada bazaar, Mochi Bazzar, Subzi Mandi, Dhan Mandi,

Delhi Gate – a total of three kms. This one hour walk will take us around the bazaars of the city and the you can get a firsthand experience of the making and selling of the handicrafts, tie and dye, footwear, jewelry, copper utensils, spices and vegetables.

Evening cooking demonstration followed by Rajasthani Dinner at

local Rajasthani family house.

Today fly back from Udaipur to Delhi and stay in Gurgaon hotel near airport and Kingdom of dream show
