My name is Khalid Khan and I have lived locally in North Finchley for many years. I am concerned about many local issues such as my children getting into local schools such as Wren Academy. There is a shortage of school places and I believe priority should be given to local people. I also want residents parking permits to enable us to park FREE of CHARGE in ANY PARKING BAY. Tory run Barnet council have increased the burden of parking charges on local residents. UKIP is a party of common sense policies, a party that expects its councillors to do what is right for the community and local residents - putting local people FIRST. This is sadly missing from Labour and the Tories, the Labour party are no longer the party of the working class, destroying our local communities. The Tories have raised taxes and vat, so are hardly the party for the middle class either.

I want an End to all 'Green' Taxes meaning lower utility bills for everyone and lower shop prices due to lower distribution costs. This will lower energy costs for industry too creating many jobs. Fair and managed immigration. A system based on points and qualifications not the current EU system which discriminates against UK family members in favour of unskilled economic migrants some with serious criminal convictions. I also favour scrapping the BBC licence fee, I do not believe it is fair to charge people the equivalent of 12 a month for the BBC. Surely we have the right to choose? Did you know 180,000 were prosecuted in court during 2013 for non-payment? Many thousands end up in prison for their fines while real criminals go free surely this insanity must end? Real democracy meaning giving people choices via referendums on many issues. Such as the right to leave the EU. The EU costs the UK over 12 Billion a year, I want us to withdraw and spend that money at home on better schools such as grammar schools and more local hospitals. Barnet General is chronically overstretched especially for maternity. An end to ALL overseas wars of aggression and interventionism. Never forget it was Labour which invaded Afghanistan and Iraq which resulted in the deaths of many thousands. UKIP is against all wars, unless clearly in self-defence. I want a strong armed forces but for defence not for aggression. UKIP is the true party for peace, liberty and democracy. UKIP is the real anti-war party.

We also want trade with the Commonwealth, India, China and Russia. Make jail sentences mean what they say. No votes for prisoners. Deport foreign convicts. Prevent foreign criminals such as rapists and paedophiles from entering the UK. Open local GP surgeries in the evening and at weekends. Better healthcare for all. Local Woodhouse residents must have priority when choosing school places. Benefits only available to those who have lived here for over 5 years and paid in taxes FIRST. Free Speech and Democracy. No snooping on people. End the surveillance society. No more foreign interventions and wars UKIP is the true anti-war party. Residents parking permits should allow parking in any parking bay across the borough. Meaning you can use it for visiting the shops Great News for Local Businesses!
