Intent Productions started in 2006 in London, UK being first to introduce the Stretch Tent to the UK from South Africa.
We work solely with stretch tents and have developed the product, honed our talents and are now market leaders supplying structures to live events, festivals and corporate events throughout the UK and Europe.
We work closely with the country’s best event planners and production companies to deliver canopies for every type of occasion on any scale.
Our Los Angeles office has been in operation since 2010 and offer our structures and rigging talent throughout California.

Stretch Tents were first designed and used in South Africa. Famous for its dry & hot climate, the tents were primarily used as striking and effective shade structures.
Working closely with our manufacturer we have developed the tents over the last decade.
Our stretch tents are fully waterproof, extremely strong and come with European safety certification for fire, allowing use at both private and public events.
Stretch tents are the ultimate in versatility, whether it be an open site, a tricky backstage area, a multi-level urban environment or even a roof top — we’ll be able to rig our tents for you in pretty much any space.

CASE STUDY 1
The brief was simple. Build a 2000 capacity dance venue with a 10m high centre point, space for a stage, full production - and give it the stretch tent signature look.
Working with the design team at the festival we custom built this structure to their requirements. Love box’s lighting team loved working with contours of the tent, producing a spectacular venue for Red Bulls’ impressive roster of DJ’s.

CASE STUDY 2
We were given an urban environment in East London to rig a 15m x 13m bar tent for Sol, which was to be featured at one of London’s famous pop-up events throughout the summer.
Using a combination of anchor bolts drilled into the walls and concrete floor, straps to some existing fixings and a peg or two we rigged the tent with a nice semi-open feel. The tent stayed
up for a total of 6 months over the summer of 2014. Size & Capacity: 15m x 13m - 350 Capacity with back bar Install time: 3hrs
